I had the honor of being a member of the 1985 NC HONORS CHORUS. We did this song....was my moms favorite.

Happy happy memories from childhood in the 80s. My mother was a choral director, music was her life. Songs like this shaped my musical taste and my life. Beautiful performance!

John Rutter choral arrangements are among the all around very best. This performance if the listener could understand the words might be meaningful. The dynamics seem to be movingly appropriate with the excellent accompaniment however without intelligible lyrics it is nothing more than rhythmically coordinated melodic harmonies!
