I've been working on the CB175, the Virago 920, and the XS750 over the last several weeks and put it all together in a compilation.
Watch as we get the cb175 running, start replacing the handlebars on the xs750, and get a bunch of Virago parts back from the powder coater.

You made me want to go out and buy a bench grinder and put a wire wheel on it. I work on cruddy bolts with a hand held wire brush, but when you have a bunch to do thats becomes a huge pain. Also, love the color of that cb. I have a 71 350 the same color. I think its called candy gold.

I'm glad I could inspire you! The wire wheel on a bench grinder and a die make short work of it.

I ran into the same problems with starter roller clutch parts. I was surprised I could still get them from Honda in 2018

How often do you have to change out your wire wheel? Cleans things up nice 🎉

Good question! With hours spent per bike I hope it lasts

A year, maybe even a bit more at my rate of usage. You can either buy a brass-coated steel wheel, or a 100% brass wheel. Steel is too hard for this use and will remove the factory coating and gouge the steel/aluminum too easily. Most brass wheels you buy are coated steel, so once the brass wears off exposing the steel it's time to change it. I usually buy the brass coated steel because they are $10 per wheel versus $60 for the true brass.
