I love the light violet shimmer in the Huda Nude obsessions light palette. And there is a light mauve matte that’s so pretty in the crease. That little palette is my favorite of 2020. I could take it around the world with me and never get tired of it. LOL right now I would like to go around the state!

I took inspiration from yesterday’s video and wore the ND Love palette with a pink transition color and that silver “kind” eyeshadow. The silver transferred up to the pink and it made a gorgeous icy lavender. Happy accident! Thanks for the inspiration

No doubt, someone has already written this, but just in case no one has I want to point out that the final color looks like one that’s nearly impossible to find anywhere. I think it’s a true indigo. It’s a color I’ve looked for for decades. Wow! It’s gorgeous!

I'm a big fan of the purple shade Celestial in the ABH Norvina palette (the 14 pan one)! Its so creamy and has the most beautiful blue shimmer in it 😍 the Huda Mercury Retrograde also has some pretty stunning purples as well. I love shade Libra for a bright, pastel crease

Have you tried the Makeup Geek shadows? My favourite purples from them are Day Dreamer (foiled) a light lilac purple and Eternally Grapeful (Matte) a deep cool toned purple perfect for the outer corner.

I too have found that many purple toned shadows blend out gray. I don’t think gray looks good on my skin tone, so I’ve struggled to find purple shades that work for me. Those that lean toward plum seem to work best. Nice choices, Mandy!

I love a good matte, bright lilac shade! My favorites like that are the shade “Kittenfish” from ColourPop It’s My Pleasure and the medium matte shades in Juvia’s Place The Violets. I also really love “Magenta Dream” from Sydney Grace. It is a gorgeous duochrome!

I don’t think this video would have been possible a few years ago, omg especially for matte purples, I’ve used/tried some wretched purples! Omg, Winter Wonder sounds like that perfect unicorn shade I’ve just not been able to find! When I heard white base/pastel it was like 💡...it won’t look grey!! I just can’t get over these Sydney Grace shades, so unique and those shimmers are perfection! I’m ordering all these beauties ASAP! Cooler purples are so difficult to find, most purples tend to lean really pinky and less blue based. Love this series! Have you done taupe, I can’t recall seeing it. Anyhow, I know everyone’s definition of taupe is different but I’d love to see your take/favs :)

I’m really enjoying this series! Two thumbs up on the purples. I love how you demonstrate wearable combinations with a toned down shimmer shade and a more bold shade. Finally someone said it.Most of the shades were NOT purples in the slightest lol. Mauves, Pinks with green shift, etc. But yeah, just call it " my kind of purple " lol instead of googling what purple color is. Youre right, my friend, there are shades shown here that are not purple even by any stretch of imagination.
