Took a few years off of making videos to collect myself and properly grieve.
My caregiving journey lead me to writing a book for people going through a similar situation. You can get it from Amazon or there is a free download on my website - www.mydadgotsick.com.
The new goal is to create videos based around conversations I have with professionals in areas that interest me with the hope that what they have to say can help you in ways I never need to know. First up later this week is a discussion I had about Navigating Your Mental Health During A Global Pandemic with Mark Brand.

@@JayPerry01 some of the worst things I have gone through, have been my best lessons. My dad is still with me in so many ways, his influence speaks to me daily. Some of your best work is yet to come. Our parents are our life tutorials, or so I think. I can hardly wait to see what you do next, your work already had a great sense of truthfulness to it, that may get even stronger.... Watching from afar.

I've been on your channel since the very beginning, around 20 subscribers. I've seen all your videos, all that you deleted later. At first, I didn't know why, because I thought they were great. Now I can sort of see why you did it. However, I will still support you. And this video is, again, exceptional. Thank you for sharing your experience. My aunt currently suffers from cancer, but it is not as bad (yet). Still, I take every opportunity to meet with her. Have a great day!

Good to have you back posting videos, Jay. I really like what you have to say and how you say it. Cancer has come and (hopefully) gone for me, but I was lucky enough to have someone by my side to take care of me. Just like you did for you dad. Thanks for the video, man
