They aren’t really dead just yet but they have used up all of their stores of fat, energy and in some cases even muscles and organs. chicken of the woods cooking advice; in this vid he still had them slimy and when eatin at that stage its pretty the same as eating a portabelo sandwich but if you cook them till they're dryer they get crispy and take on the texture of chicken waaay more with a little crunch. if you put butter or like him some sauce on them after that is peeerrrffecctt

I have never eaten a Chum (Dog...because Alaskans, possibly Russians, use them to feed the sled dogs) salmon....would be interesting to actually catch one that doesn't look like swimming death and try it! I have caught a ton of them, but only in rivers where they have already started to rot alive (zombie fish, as you said). There must be a way to catch them in the salt where they are still silver and edible? When salmon die, they add nutrients to the water to help their eggs hatch and fry (hatchlings) to survive. A VERY specific life cycle. I REALLY need to take a mycology course...you and Jocelyn have some crazy shroom hunting skills!

@Steve-sv3ln

Very awesomely comforting videos. Really peaceful. Ty! I have to share because you used the word zombie regarding those fish. Did you know that each man and woman who haven't yet received Christ Jesus into their hearts are zombies, too? True story. Spiritually...these people are dead...and if they were to die without Repentance for their sins...they would spend their eternity in a death that bares no comfort. Because they've chosen to serve the devil while here on earth. Taking their reward here...rather than storing their rewards in heaven. Just caring and sharing. Beginning to read in: The Gospel of John, will allow, Jesus, to enlighten our understanding of Salvation through Repentance for our sin. We'll be very thankful, for what, Jesus, has done for us, Reader! ❤️
