Thank you all for the support. Honestly, you’re all amazing! Y’all pick me up when I’m down, you cheer me on when I succeed. This is an incredible milestone, to get to say I have my own product with barnacle foods. Cheers🍻
Joslyn never disappoint when it comes to fishing and mushroom hunt. Chilli crisp ordered, well 3 bottles to be safe. I love that your brand is taking off and I hope this moment makes you feel better. I'm telling you that sponsor made a bad decision. God bless you both ❤️
Love you guys, I live in NYC and love what you do. I have learnt so much from watching you. I have a cabinet fill of products you use to include dehydrated mushrooms and soon those Chilli Kelp crisp. I am making that rice and one day hope to do more. You mean a lot to us, and I pray you keep pushing forward.
10:42 aww, I loved that little moment- I wouldn't worry about trying to be so professional in your video at every moment, when you're teaching a technique or educating on wild edibles then sure, but otherwise it's great to see your chemistry with Jocelyn (like when you guys got sloshed in Mexico 😜)
I can't wait for my shipment to arrive! Congrats on this huge milestone. It's so admirable that you've continued to grind through the hard times. Your resilience has paid off with this product drop!
Congratulations Taku and Jocelyn! I bought the 3 pack kelp chili crisp, one of the bundles, and a tshirt from Barnacle Foods. Thanks for always putting out great content and for taking us on your adventure! I've been following you since you first started and watching you guys grow. You and Jocelyn will always have our support.
Wow those berries looks yummy & especially the octopus great & delicious cooking as usual & the funny thing is I would of never thought Alaska doesn't get as cold as MN does
Love the foraging/mushroom videos. Always awaiting Tuesday for the new upload. We have kelp pickles from Barnacle Foods in house, right now! Can't wait to get some Kelp Chili Crisp. Outdoor Chef Life officially branded!! 🎉 Congrats!!
Its very nice that your also "hunting" mushroom`s. I started reading books on identifying mushrooms and plants in December. Picking and identifying them is pure fun. Besides, you can relax outside.
As a amateur mushroom hunter here in Pennsylvania I’m loving this video more mushroom foraging videos plz and thank you lol! Your a fun-gi 🤣peace love and blessings!
I love Barnacle Foods! Their kelp pickles are my jam. Just ordered 2 of your kelp chili crisp! (I bought other things too) Super excited to try this! Congratulations!!
thank you for announcing the release of your new collab! I actually looked it up when you first mentioned the kelp chili crisp in a previous video but couldn't find it -- I didn't know it was still in the works. Can't wait to try it. Congrats to you and Jocelyn :D
This is a huge moment! Huge congratulations to you taku and Jocelyn for your first outdoor chef life product!! I can tell you I ordered some of that real fast! I’m super excited to try it. Your takoyaki looked absolutely amazing as well.
I grabbed up 3 of the Chili Crisps with confidence it will be fantastically delicious! Congrats to you and Barnacle Foods. These Alaska episodes are great!!!
Wow! What an accomplishment it is for you two & doing what you love. I knew when I started watching your videos from the beginning you were going to make it! Just remember fame comes in many different ways stay humble & it’ll work out👍🏼
Knowing Taku and his commitment to quality that kelp chili crisp is going to sell well. It's also extremely reasonably priced too compared to other youtuber's chili products.
Living the good life and showing everyone that hard work pays off. Just picked me up a bottle with some other goodies and merch can’t wait to try it! True inspiration from both yourself and Jocelyn🤙
Can't wait to try it! Been following your channel, adventures, and recipes for years! Hopefully there will be some left during next pay period... cards are maxed out currently due to back to school shopping for kids lol
Congratulation! A year ago after your initial visit to Barnacle I have been purchasing Barnacle products such as their Hot Sauce, Rhubarb Jam, and Everything Kelp Seasoning. I will definitely purchase the Kelp Chili Crisp.
congrats to you and everyone involved in making your new line of sauce.cant wait to try it it looks really tasty, good job taku and keep up the good work brother.
Congrats yall! Can't wait to try the crisps! I want to try your takoyaki too WOW that looks so amazing. I love watching yalls dynamics while yall adventure together, it reminds me so much of myself and my girlfriend. Keep up the great work!
I'm a fan of wild mushrooms, and wild berries, as they taste so good. A nice rice dish you made there with the wild mushrooms. Also, takoyaki is something I really enjoy eating. Octopus is great. Very nice berry pie too. Thanks for another awesome video. Cheers, Taku and Jocelyn! #TakuTuesday ✌️
Love your channel taku! To show some love I ordered 3 kelp chillis!!! From one fisherman to another your videos bring me inspiration to one day start my own channel . Come to Canada more ! I watch all your videos , much love bro✌️
Outstanding, this is one reason I started following you. We made chili crisp at a ramen place in Austin. Found it difficult to control temperatures (especially rapid cooling) with a steam kettle. Regular deep pot and gas seemed best. Good luck
Ordered 3 jars 👍 happy to support, and I just learned to love chili crisp so this is perfect timing!!! You’ve taught me so much about Northern California sea foraging (including showing us Kirk’s guidebook). Fishing and foraging got me through some rough times mentally during the pandemic, so thank you!
Congrats Taku! Just ordered 3 of the oils along with some of the hot sauces and kelp pickles! Looking forward to trying it! Your content has definitely helped me become more comfortable with cooking at home. I have always considered myself a foodie but a pretty shit cook to be honest. Although I still have a long way to go I am definitely enjoying my journey to becoming a better home cook, thanks to inspiration from you! Keep up the great work and your amazing adventures!
Hell yeah! Order mines today and can’t wait to try it, super stoked and congratulations brotha. Been day 1 since you started it and I’m happy for you guys. Keep cheffin!!!
Just put in my order, hyped to try out the chili crisp and some other products from Barnacle! Y'all should come down to the TX coast sometime to stay on the longest undeveloped barrier island in the world! Padre Island National Seashore.
Congrats on the product Taku, it looks great! I am a casual watcher of your videos so I haven't followed along your chili crisp journey, so that was definitely a cool surprise. I wish you could have done some live reactions about how it tastes! (Like level of spice, saltiness, texture, etc.) I would also love to know a bit more about how those nagoon berries tasted like too! I have never heard of those before. You guys always describe your food as "it's good" and I'm like... But what does that MEAN exactly in terms of flavour? LOL I first got into your channel from your foraging videos so I really enjoyed this mushroom one, as a break from all the fishing-centric vids (which are still good lol don't get me wrong). Thanks and please keep it up!
Happy to see you thriving Taku! 2 mins in and just had to stop and say that! Oh and the berries look like Nature’s own everlasting gob stoppers from Willie Wonka.
Awesome job y’all! Really enjoy all your content. If you ever want to do a mushroom adventure in northern Arizona mountains I know beautiful spots in the higher elevations. It would be in August. Keep up the great work y’all!
One of my favorites all time. Had a little bit of everything. Foraging watching fish spawn, cooking, getting the &$#@ scared out of me, good company eating good food together, getting new announced ready. Can't wait to order..
Crown-tipped coral mushrooms cooked in hot chicken broth are fantastic. Be careful with how you forage them though, they can look pretty similar to some not-so-fun fungi.
Received my three bottles yesterday. Did KCC with scrambled eggs and rice for breakfast, and then used it to top off pan seared scallops for dinner. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Thank you and BF for the delicious collab. Gave one bottle to a friend (and fellow sub), but I'm keeping bottles 1 and 3 for us!!
Come hang out and look for some mushies on your way back through Oregon! oh and Corals are edible but just like any start with a small amount and don't drink alcohol with them.
I haven’t watched my octopus teacher yet but my fam has and they have chosen to stop eating it because once you have knowledge you have responsibilities to remain and act elevated. You seem to be an empathic person as am I, so we should act accordingly. It’s in good favor to the earth and those we share it with! 🙏✌️
