Mr. Brar if you ever feel like you chose the wrong profession just remember that you have put many smiles upon my face and the face of many others. Thank you
Pro guitarist for over 50 years now. I rarely comment, but today was a downer and I found this on my feed… Made my day 10 times better! I love your voicings and sense of phrasing. The fact that you don’t take yourself too seriously made me binge watch. Stay cool! You’re the real deal.
When "going to a music store" becomes a thing again, you should totally go to a few and make a reaction video, although perhaps some of these versions will need a bit of a rework to find the sweet spot between "they know it's a forbidden song" and "but I kind of want to see how it goes"!
It's crazy how proficient this guy is at both jazz and classical, two every different and even often opposing styles that each take a lifetime of study. I started watching with his Tarrega video and now I watch them all and have learned a lot.
honestly, i have heard countless jazz covers of smells like teen spirit, even one by Paul Anka, but this was one of the best ones. And the song works so well as a jazz song
I recently watched your guitar progress video, and your experience of playing for so many years clearly shows. You are criminally under-subbed. You deserve a lot more recognition, my man. Wishing you the best.
i have such a huge respect for you, as a guitarist and a singer. the harmonies, the groove, the scale usage and technically the skills you have are really beautiful. such as every other jazz musicians, respectable.
@@Paksusuoli95 Yeah, maybe leaving it open to whatever seems most fruitful. 'Autumn Leaves' in the style of Chopin, 'My Favourite Things' in the style of Scarlatti, 'Someday my Prince will Come' in the style of Debussy or Ravel, that kind of thing 😂
As someone who follows damn near every guitar youtube channel I can confidently say you are at least top 5 and probably top 3 content. Just can't get enough of your vids. Please never stop.
1) Jazz on the water 2)Smells like Jazz spirit 3)WonderJazz 4)Seven Jazzy army 5)Jazzway to heaven 6) Enter Jazzman Great as usual.....#weloveyouLucas,keep on...Ciao
Mercy, I love love love this. I'm an old fart who mainly does praise and worship but you absolutely inspire me to go back and do some jazz again. Thank you for the inspiration and the fantastic voice leadings and chord progressions and extensions etc amazing amazing work Love this
Seven Nation Army without seeing the title sounded like Rock Lobster for a second.. Amazing stuff as always Lucas! Such precise, clean playing - always a pleasure to watch.
Lucas your jazzy interpretation of “stairway to heaven” is amazing! Music should be played to inspire others and man, you definitely do - please keep on.
I've watched the whole episode with my mouth open in awe. I'm fascinated and thrilled by what you've done but also a little sad knowing that I probably will never get anywhere near such a level of proficiency. It's so amazing, I just can't believe what I've seen/heard
I’ve been a working pro since 1964 with a masters in music comp…okay those are my credentials. Your renditions of these songs, in my opinion, are excellent and worthy of being included on a compilation CD for distribution. Both your vocals and playing are excellent and spot on and your walking bass lines are great. Plus I always get a kick out of how you mock Max Martin…..but I bet that we both wouldn’t turn down his paycheck.
Absolutely love what you're doing. Ever since I started learning guitar, before the internet was even popular, I wanted to play popular songs this way. Amazing 👏👏👏
So good. I think this clinches the fact that the greatest songs are based on a very strong musical foundation, and you've tapped into that Lucas. There's pure gold within these songs and you mine it with talent, inspiration and joy. I think I'll appreciate the originals even more after this!! 👏👏
After just buying new Rubner machine heads and restringing my favourite classical guitar, I finished listening to this and promptly jumped up and down on it. But then I've only been playing 50 years. I'll just listen from here on in to Lucas.
I play guitar for over ten years now but you make me feel like I just started lol. The way you rearranged the intro to stairway to heaven is just insane. You should really consider producing these and bringing them out. I would definitely listen to it and I think I'm not the only one.
You must have some super powers...! This is how I see your technique of playing, your creativity on how to make and to "sale" a song...very entertaining.
the most entertaining channel I know....Your playing is discouragingly good and your arrangements are exquisite. And on top of everything, you can also sing...
I think you should try to play it in a guitar shop. It would be fun to see the quick changes of emotions on the sellers' faces) Beautiful arrangement, as always👏
Man, these arrangements of your interpretations for these songs are just sick…awesome and highly original sounding. Well done and still highly respectful to the original. I enjoyed them immensely. Will you release an album or collection of these and/or new arrangements? I would definitely buy that. Your playing is so smooth and seamless, I could listen to you play all day I am now subscribed and looking forward to seeing and hearing what more you will compose. Keep going Lucas (Thank you) Hope all is well with you and yours. Be well We are our brother’s keeper. Pay It Forward May peace be with you and yours always
I burst in laughter when you yawned on the arpeggio intro of "Stairway To Heaven". You are as good as a comedian as a guitar virtuoso. Keep on playing and having fun Lucas. I am waiting for you tour in France. Hope makes me live (a French proverb)
