Ah finally sadako gets the recognition she deserves, it really is the best feeling when a survivor you aren't even looking for suddenly gets fully condemned and you just drop everything you are doing to book it to the nearest tv, and the face of "oh i FCKEd up" when you crawl out of the tv to end their life subscription is priceless

Ever since I saw the backwards walk I knew this video was coming cuz I was confused and I thought he was just styling on his opponents during a tournament

Reminds me of Pig staying in crouch and just following you around until your head trap kills you, except this seems to take more effort than that and there’s more variety in the counterplay; with people saying Pig and Sadako are low tier and they both can play like this to be potentially be more effective, I think that’s amusing.

Okay now consider Deathbound, a perk that combos well with ring drawing. It gives you an immediate ping where two survivors are to get a potential double condemn

The devs should work on this mechanic and make into something like a haunting mode, good for the lore and the strength of the killer

two things: one, picking a survivor off the ground counts as healing them for the purposes of ring drawing, so if you want to spread condemned even more, slug a condemned survivor next to a tv, and when theyre picked up, teleport to it immediately. two, a hit and run playstyle suits this very well, as in order to counter it, they have to heal, spreading condemned even more. however, self-healing doesnt affect it, making boons a major thing to watch out for

I’d been playing with that Sadako build for a while after seeing that from OnePumpWillie, it took some time to get used to it, but I get a couple of condemned kills each game. It really is a fun build.

Thank you for this! Ever since I saw OnePumpWillie in that Tournament I wanted to play Sadako for Condemn Moris, but I never found any explanations on how to do that.

Sadako could definitely use more buffs to her power. Condemned doesn’t do anything beyond if it reaches full. BHVR said she was supposed to be a psychological killer, so they should do that. As condemn builds, it should cause projections on the survivor’s screen, audio hallucinations, etc. Make it spooky and psychological.

I watched the tournament video and then played a lot of sadako in his playstyle! Glad I wasnt the only one mesmerized by the playstyle!

I feel like the ring drawing need to be base kit. It's helps slow down survivors a bit.

Does the green add-on also apply when a survivor gets picked up from the dying state? Could be a good way to make sure multiple people have condemn on them if several survivors get rid of their tape at the start of a match.

I'm actually more of a Sadako main now. I average around 2-3 mori's per game. It's extremely viable, but obviously incredibly addon reliant

Hey, otz!. When you enter a chase with a surv with a tape. The game pauses any tape progress until the killer is 16 meters away for 5 or more seconds. Just letting you know how that works

Amazing video! Sadako is so fun, I played with her a bit ago and got 3 condemned moris. I got sent to rpd and ended up teleporting to all of the tvs, and had the add on to spread condemn when healing, it worked better then I thought.

I tend to use Condemned in the same way I use Nemesis's zombies. Don't think about them unless a chance opportunity to use them shows up, then play around that opportunity. So if a survivor keeps running near TVs, teleport. If a zombie is close to an annoying loop, stand still and let them cut the survivor off for you etc.

There's also a variation where you take iri tape and ring drawing, then you slug them and let them full heal. It's more stable in my opinion cause you sometimes can get bad rng with the tv's the survivors get at the beginning of the game. However if the survivors are not careful in early game, the editing deck brings way better results

Hey Otz, I wanted some opinions on the Autodidact build you shared a couple years ago I think it was. I really loved the build, but with the new changes to regressed healing from hemorrhage, Solidarity isn't lookin too good and spine chill no longer has the increase in skill checks, so what 2 perks would be good to combo with Autodidact now? Solidarity and Leader I found to be pretty good for when I need a quick heal too but just wanted your thoughts? Love your vids, keep up the good work!

So I been on a Inscription Kaycee's Mod play streak and Im aware Otz here has played but I thought I was losing my mind when I realized I was hearing music from the game. It was super interesting seeing Sadako played this way though, great vid!

I play this strat often, its usually better to pair ring drawing with slugging, you cant dodge ring drawing condemned stats by self caring that way, since picking up slugs also counts as a healing action. The bonus effect of slugging is that you burn through unbreakables much quicker.

I'm glad you finally see some potential in the Killer because other killer streamers caught onto this for a while. Sometimes it can still be hard to prevent them putting in the tape next to you which can cost you games and if new people pick up Onryo and everyone starts playing her this way, it will surely be changed similiar to AFK Pig. But theres another way to get condemn kills this way right now which won't be as easy for them to fix. The second addon Otz uses, Ring Drawing lets you build condemn by slugging everyone instead of hooking. So you play like a Thana Legion and then slug everybody on the ground like Twins/Nurse and eventually get multi condemns. Very boring for survivors but very effective, I average 3 condemn kills a game playing that way and you still have the option to moonwalk after Survivors when they inevitably have to pick tapes.

I like to play with one of the iridescent add ons that makes the TVs turn on after a post-manifest hit with the "heal condemn" add on this makes me teleport a LOT and build condemn with a hit and run style

I've found alot of success running this strategy as a dedicated slug build, knockout, sloppy, nurses and stbfl to make sure they can't do tvs in your face. It works great for me but I can't say how the survivors feel about it.

I've been trying something like this. But I use knock out and deerstalker to slug, with make your choice and dragons grip for pressure and quick downs. The red aura add on and one of the add ons that turns TVs back on. Boom.

I watched that game and didn't understand why he was moonwalking during chase a few times. Thanks for clarifying it unpauses the timer

I can tell u this works multiple times with different perks, it’s so much fun

With the green add-on you can slug and build up condemned easily as well. So instead of moonwalking you can slug, demanifest, then when they're picked up the person who picked them up gets a stack as well

I faced a similiar strat but it was a slug Sadako who didnt hook anyone but got 4 kills because getting someone up from the ground counts as healing and spreads condemned with the add on (Her build was knockout and deer stalker to tp on us when we got up)

Prior to willie I had never thought to play her this way. Was insane to witness this 4 person condemn. I use knockout and thana, works nicely, only gotten the 3 person condemn the two times I’ve ran it however

I actually have been doing the healing condem gameplay for a while but I did a different build I ran thana,save the best for last, nurses, and jolt. Jolt is great for lots of slugging since you have no cool down and when people try to pick their friends up you can see them with nurses

I believe there is an addon where if healed a heath-state increases condemned. So slugging is in your benefit

Is it always the TV on the opposite side of the map where the survivor has to put in the tape? If so, lethal could be really useful to see where the survivors spawn and thus, where their TVs will be. Wondering how useful that info might be in a match...

This exact thing already happened to me, first time I came across the add-on with the immediate tape and when I noticed I had to get to my TV pretty much immediately because the killer must have chosen to target me first, I couldn't get to it cause the killer cut me off 😭I've been weary of this build ever since but I'm always unlucky in this game and I'm always the one that gets targeted

Iridescent Tape + Ring Drawing is faster overall. Being able to spam TVs for the entire match is better than just giving survivors a tape at the start, which is mostly useless. Giving survivors a tape at the start is also counterproductive. If their condemn gets too high, they just need to deliver their tape. They already know what TV they need to give it to at the start of the match. Whereas, if you don't use the Tape Editing Deck, when survivors are condemned enough to feel in danger, they have to find a tape first. And guess what? They can't get a tape if all the TVs are constantly off from you spamming them. Survivors can't get rid of their condemn if they can get their hands on a tape in the first place. Only slugging and not hooking is also better because of Ring Drawing. Hooking is counterproductive if you're going for condemn kills.

Can you be grabbed by the killer when you are retrieving and placing a video tape? If so, does the health state of the survivor matter?

Is it worth switching to PC from ps4 considering cross progression doesn't seem to be happening any time soon. I have the majority of killers and don't really want to lose them. Is the gameplay worth the change?

I've always had this one question for one of Sadako's add-ons which is the VCR add-on Like what exactly does it do it says it makes all tv play the projection whenever Sadako teleports to one but does it mean it appears as if she's coming out of all of them, or does only the screen change,Does the sound effect effects all of them?

This is the only add on set up I've played that makes condemned dangerous. Usually the survors get condemned on their own tho

When they first released her I would Combine these add on all the time and most of the time Under the right circumstances I’d get a mori kill In the first 2 minutes of playing somtimes more or less and due to her power being ignored so much it really makes her stronger with this build, now that you’ve exposed this Strategy I wonder how much players will Adapt

Moonwalking to Condemn feels VERY cheap. I don't really want the devs to change the Condemnation mechanic for a boring antiloop tho, so my proposal is just rework Tape Editing Deck. Sure you can still moonwalk tape-havers, they just won't be FORCED to have a tape at the start of the game. My proposal is "Grabbing a Tape gives a stack of Condemnation to everybody else as well". I think that with aggressive Condemnation, this could create a cascading effect of Condemnation where everybody starts panicking, grabbing tapes, and sabotaging everyone else in a desperate attempt at self-preservation (kinda like how the curse spreads in the movies). I also think the Ring Drawing addon should be basekit and a lot of Sadako's addons should be reworked to spread Condemnation in different ways like "When a survivor gains a new status effect, they gain 0.5 stacks of Condemnation" or "Survivors within 16 m of you when you break a generator gain 1 stack of Condemnation". So you can create a whole unique Condemnation economy that the survs have to work around. Like: Sadako breaks a gen with Eruption and Dragon's Grip, spreading 1 Condemnation to anyone nearby. Anyone getting Dragon's Grip also gains half a stack of Condemnation, anyone who gets Incapacitated does too, and the Onryo's running Sloppy Butcher and 3rd Seal too so that's another 1.5 stacks the first time you're hit and 1 stack for each healthy hit later." And the survivors have to basically figure out what the Onryo's running and adapt. Don't heal up unless you can tank 1 stack of Condemnation when injured!! Stuff like that. Edit: This combo would also be VERY nasty with Fearmonger!

I'm a survivor main, but I have all of my aurvivors at least to prestige 3, so I go to killer to spend my BP. I felt froggy the other day while I was on Saduko's bloodweb and tried her out. The first match was with no ad ons to get a feel of her gameplay. It lasted forever, but I just kept teleporting non stop and one-tapped them to a 3k. The second match, I got her adept. She is so much fun to play, though admittedly weak. If I was higher in the MMR with her I imagine that wouldn't have happened. Either way, she's awesome to play.

I love being a Onryo main. I love condemning and getting a mori on a survivor who hasn't been hooked once its so great getting salt, once got a 3 man mori and hooked the last survivor on dead dawg with no gens done it felt so nasty bro i love it

they should make an iridescent add on that makes the onryo always cloaked form, and able to hit inside it, but remove the ability to teleport. instead, she just turns the tv off and it applies condemned, but she can't tele to it.

It's always neat seeing people use a characters sub abilities to their fullest extent.

Instead of ring drawing i would recommend yoirichis fishing net it would speed up the process?
