Amara Jordan, Don't cha just love information sickness? - Instead of worrying about, say, heart attacks and car accidents we're worried about mass shooters and easy human combustion.. :D If you are really freaked out out it; most people in fires typically die from smoke inhalation long before the fire gets to them, and spontaneous human combustion was only ever 'recorded' anecdotally with people that consumed much alcohol. However, if you ever find yourself in a fire, wetting clothing or a cloth and using that as a mask will filter a good majority of the soot & smoke. Also, covering yourself with water will create a steam barrier which can last for just a couple seconds of you need to get through a small & hot enough area.
