G'day guys, In this latest video we show a Beast 250 Crossflow motor we have recently sold. We had the engine for a while before we realised we were not going to use it in any of our projects.
This sort of High Performance engine needed a good home so we have sold to a guy we have dubbed "the Crossflow King".
We hope to get some more footage of it running soon, so Please stay tuned.
Its a pretty full on 6 cylinder build and with the price of fuel now this sort of a build may interest a few more guys to see what a good 250 Crossflow turbo build should consist of and will sound like, Please Enjoy!

Miss my old XE SPak with its 250 cross flow, had its head shaved and valves ported out, lumpy cam with Genie extractors and a straight through 2 1/2” exhaust. It’d be long dead now, but the engine was a beast.

I had a speedway 250 crossflow in my XC ute. Yella Terra Alloy head flowed to the shithouse with a jetted down 350 holley and the speedway cam, thing blasted Hemi 265's and some small block v8's. 250 Crossflows are SLEPT ON

Joe Gauci went 8.6 with a 200xflow Corty 10 plus years ago. Id call that the King.

G'day from West Australia, 😉 Yeèeep still got my old 250x flow in a ZL Fairlane, with twin 400cfm gas Reasearch mixers on custom made manifold. Doesn't quite lift front wheels off the ground but close. And that's as an auto with 277:1 limited slip final drive. Torque monster in NA trim.🙂👍👍

That twin 400cfm gas research mixer setup sounds interesting! I used to have a 460cfm 425Impco setup on a 465 baseplate with an Aussiespeed 4barrel manifold, Shaved C2 head, Camtech hydraulic cam, headers & 2.5system. It ran great with a T5 & 2.92 diff in my TE cortina with 16inch focus rims.

@@zacsborntorunrunningadvent3441 Nice, also nice light car in comparison to the ZL think it was almost 2 tonnes. Cortina probably just over half the weight ( maybe under can't remember).🙂👍👍

@@steveveness3829 yeah the ZL wasn't too bad at about 1580kg & the TE was about 1220kg. I think there was around 360kg difference. I had sticky 205r16s on my TE & ended up ripping all the backend up cracking the trailing arm connection points. The 214@050" was a great cam to replace a stock cam without losing bottomend. The C2 heads had alot of potential. The emissions smog cam really held back the 250xflow engine. Even the undercarbed weber would gain 30rwhp+ with cam & headers.

@@zacsborntorunrunningadvent3441 I seam to remember the rego papers said 1950kgs. As to cam don't remember the specs. Know it was very much a torque monsteryet still reved to about 5800. I might of advanced the cam one tooth on the sprocket just for fun. As one does🙂 As to rwar end of mine it was beefed up quite a bit.
