Ford included a tool bag with the Bronco and it included a bunch of items that were a mystery to me. So, I did a little research to find out what the purpose was for each item and I thought I'd share what I found out.

The extra tool kit loops in the kit will hold roof rail removal tools. included when your bronco comes with roof rack and rails . I found the rack tools in a bag in the glove box in a separate zip loc . Great video ,Thanks.

“Bronco Bolts” on modular bumper are TP40.

This was super helpful! We had many of the same questions and you answered them! Now... back to trying to move the bar on the rack...

"Stretch loops" are to hold the triangle end tool that is used for the roof rack clamps.

Yay! That was quite the mystery. I had a hard time even finding a picture of it. I think I see it in this image for the 2-door Bronco roof rack on Ford's site... cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0518/9563/2063/products/0a62cbf5-6080-4504-9370-8afa6a3978a9_1480x.jpg

TP50 is also for removing fasteners that hold on brackets for the hardtop. I had to remove them when I put on a sun shade.

I know when doing a spare tire delete, there's torque screws involved in removing that. So that could be a spot. Also behind the grill i think there's torque screws to remove the panel behind the grill, if you want to run raptor style lights or lit up bronco letters.

That never occurred to me. Thanks for the info! 👍🏻

The stretchy loops hold the wrench handle to install/remove the roof rack.

The 10mm is probably for the battery terminals or any other bolts under the hood

Yeah, I sort of figured it was stuff like that. 🙂

I put the TP50 Torx Plus on the ratchet wrench and cannot figure out how to get it off. There's no release that I can see. Can somebody help? Thank you!

Anyone figure out how to separate the TP50 Torx Plus socket from the bit? The socket looks like it can be used for putting on grip handles but I can't separate the socket from the bit

Mine also came with two velcro straps, no idea what they are for.

Those are used to hold the softtop in place when you flip back the top. To be used when off roading/rough roads.

Where do you find the toolkit? Is it where the jack is?

Mine was in the glove box when I received the vehicle from the dealer.

I thought it was just me that didn't know what it was meant for. If you don't already have these tools, you shouldn't own a Bronco. Thanks anyway, but I think I'll re-gift it because I have no intention of removing my doors. Ever.
