When Ford bring back the Taurus Sedan, have Australian Engineers, Research and Development, look what they've done with the Ranger. Furthermore, the Australian built Ford Falcon FGX sedan which was the best ever built. With the Taurus Sedan designed by the Aussies and have the money to spend on interior upgrades, it will be a good looking vehicle. I will buy if it comes with ICE motors, a strong and economical V8 Supercharger or the Aussie made Barra inline 6 cylinders engine with turbo. The Australian L.E.A's, Taxi drives and general customers will return to Ford Taurus/Falcon in droves. Better than the midsize Skoda's, VW, Hyundai SUV's and sedans. Even the Japanese CEO has stating the EV's are dead. Provided they come at a reasonable price tage.
@@Cracyfox4359 actually the last Taurus didn’t look nor seem that bad before. Police forces throughout the world still use the Taurus today. If the car was built with better quality materials and a ‘tad’ better performance it could have remained a good seller. The last model had far to many ‘recalls’ and nearly too much squeaks and rattles. If Ford brings back the Taurus SHO I hope the build quality and performance ranks up there with the big three Mercedes, Lexus, BMW.
Keep the gas and offer electric besides Don’t get rid of gas because there’s no proper infrastructure in place Look at California Too many black outs Bring Pontiac back For Trans Am / Firebird Tempest / GTO , G8 and Grand Am Grand Prix Some great SUVs and CUVs
if ford would bring in a small van not a minty van but could be used for work, camping like in the old days it would be a hit., ford transit is close but you cant buy one
The idiots at Ford GM Dodge are not getting it what the residents of north america need is smaller reliable regular pickups less electronic shit you don't need ,and more mini vans
Ppl don’t always want all the SUVs But give those “ Cars a higher platform and legroom in front and back This is why many carmakers went to SUVs because the cars are too cramped and small
"Ford will need to focus on performance technology and design..." Don't forget quality. And Ford doesn't need to be as good as someone else, they need to better than everybody else. Glad someone at Ford is finally getting some common sense that we are not ready for all electric vehicles yet, and not the price tag for em either. Ford taurus was my fav till it was discontinued, and I always wanted a Ford Ranchero. Can't wait to see the final products on the dealers lot. Hopefully not with major mark ups from the dealers. If the dealers pull that crap, it might be time to take a page out of Elon Musk's book and open a company owned dealership on the Indian Resevations and partner with Native American Tribes and sell directly to the public. Just saying.
I have had Fords for the last 25 hrs since passing my driving test, when they discontinued the Mondeo in the UK and announced that they were going all electric they lost a life long customer. If they brought the Taurus to the UK with either diesel or gasoline engine, they will definitely get an order from me.
How about a vehicle that is reliable, minimum computerize crap so it's easy to maintain when something goes wrong, and is affordable in the $15,000-$20,000 range? Because contrary to what auto manufactures think, not all of us want bloated, oversized pick up trucks. Small affordable van or pickup would be amazing.
