This is my third and final video on the tear down of the Ford Duratec 2.0L HE Ti-VCT Engine. In this video I get into the bottom end of the engine. The oil pan is removed. The oil pump and oil pump pick up is also removed while explaining the purpose of the oil pump and going over a few interesting facts concerning the oil pump and oil pick up. I also remove the flex plate or flywheel then removing the rear main seal and explaining a few details of the rear main seal. After that the tear down process stops as the crankshaft is locked up due to rust build up in the cylinders. I do, however, go over a few brief points concerning the crankshaft and the remaining components inside the crank case.

Mr. Barbour, Sir, you are the BEST at explaining the procession of components in this engine. The tone of delivery of information is calm and friendly but with sureness, and when information is presented that isn't necessarily solid, there's a clear disclaimer of that. This lets a person's brain feel as though the source of information being presented is being delivered with good intentions....and when a brain indicates that the source of the info is gonna have its back (lol, huh?), the brain signals to the ears to open up to permit the acquisition of new knowledge being so logically delivered in its proximity. Your delivery of info in your videos truly increases the chances of a person understanding and properly processing and encoding and storing memory that can later be used during recall. I have brain damage, and you are a saint and one of not many, whose presentation actually accelerates the retention of the information for a later date without the need for excessive repetition. Lol what a crazy comment to an engine teardown vid! This lady is nuts! Thanks, though, Mr. Barbour.

Would you please, if you haven't yet already, consider making a short video about the flow of electrical current around the engine area of the Focus? Something simple to clarify the connection locations of the main wire harness that you had pulled off of the engine block at the beginning of the first teardown video. I have my Ford engine diagram that shows the power and ground cables, and I've found a good handful, but I'll be a son of a gun if I can't find where it's all connected to the engine and alternator and transmission. Anyways...thanks for your time!!

Thanks for the comments. I'm a bit of a slow learner and often have a hard time understanding things. So, I attempt to make my videos for people such as myself. I'm glad you are getting something out of my video. This video linked below may be of help to you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q8zVtUDTb5U.htmlsi=h1NRHzbxMNqBJKlE
