2013 Escape Titanium. 129k miles. Driver side not responding. Seems simple enough. Going to give it a go. I had trouble trying to get the wiper arms off one time so hopefully it won’t prove me wrong this time

My daughters 2013 escape is having an issue where neither wiper blade will come up unless I give it a little boost or move with my hand. Could both motors have went out or dying at the same time?

My driver's side stopped working but passenger side will go up and stay. Drivers side just makes a vibration noise. I took both arms off and the motors still work and spin. I can attach just the pasenger side and it works by itself. I put the drivers arm on and it just makes a sound like it's not spinning. Like it doesn't have the strength to. Should I replace the motor?

Im having the same problem. Driver side wiper getting stuck in upright position. How did u know u had to change the passenger side and not the driver side? My passenger side still goes up and down. Also the driver side makes a humming sound when it gets stuck.

Would this video help with a 2014 model?

If one motor stopped would the other work?

Incredible video. Im a loser. I bought a 2014 Ford Escape for 12,000 plus interest on the 8,000 dollar loan. My life is an endless cycle of fuck ups. Everyday, I dream of someone shooting me in the face. This would be another 600 dollars into the car that I have sunk about 7,000 dollars in repairs for (new tires, bearings, suspension, windshield, windshield wiper motors, what else.. umm oh yeah, the brakes, the spark plugs, the filters, the brake pads and the A/C). My life is trash. Thank you for helping. I will go buy a socket set to figure this out. Im a 39 year old waiter who lives from pay check to pay check and will never be good enough for anyone to father their children so if fixing this car is all I have.. well, thats good enough for me. You’re a huge help. Hopefully, I’ll die in a car accident like my brother did and not have to worry so much. My inspection is passed due and I need an oil change.
