Sounds like some fancy sequential gearbox. Could someone clarify that one. The gear changing was very slick and almost linear? Nothing beats an old Escort on full chat. Or an Audi. Or any of the old group B monsters. Peace to everyone!!

BD series engine judging by the noise.... I would guess BDG 2 liter with between 250 and 280hp....but only my guess....😆

That Ford Guy The BDR was a kit to convert x flows to 16v BDA form with BD1 cam profiles which is maybe why you think its single cam ...all the BD series were twin cam dude....but lacked all the steel components and forged pistons....if my memory serves me right but it is getting foggy these days...lol

bdg 2 ltr yes but that's 12,000 rpm race engine and good for 300 bhp plus.

Well the details are on petrolicious ~ Sierra cosworth engine minus turbo special short stroke rods 10k Rev limit 300bhp ~ keeps the costs well down from BDG/BDA rebuilds.....
