The mk2 Escort I cant believe that I’ve only ever had one , The mk 2 will never be old it’s the ultimate toy I love them I’m sure it was built only for rallying and the road car was just a for spares in the future

Brandon Ryan delta/s4/hf integrale/stratos- all unpredictable and unstable...dangerous as hell cars. Mk2 is predictable and easy to slide and curb, no comparsion with italian hard cars.

The video is great but the title is wrong - the RS2000 uses the sohc engine , often referred to as “Pinto” ; the cars here are “RS1600 , even though the BDA/BDG engines are taken out to larger sizes.

Sooo good any time ANYONE decided to turn up with something else they got thrashed (the escorts)... Renault alpine. Lancia stratos Fiat 131 Opel ascona Talbot sunbeam. Vauxhall chevette Opel manta Renault 5T Audi quattro.... ANY time someone else came to play the escorts got their asses handed to them
