DESCRIPTION:
2005 Excursion XLT 4-wheel drive Power Stroke Turbo Diesel. Only 149,000 miles. It is very clean, looks great, and runs strong. Has some very nice UPDATES including the GT Platinum Engine Tuner with Gauge (Bully Dog) that monitors tunes and provides diagnostic info….said to provide increased horsepower, torque and improved milage. Also updated with roof rack mounted to factory roof mounting system, has quality LED lights including front and rear light bars mounted to the roof rack, Alpine digital media receiver, Backup Camera, towing mirrors with built in blinkers, lift kit, 20 inch KMC wheels with new Hankook tires (35x12.50R2OLT), etc. Thousands spent on upgrades. Very impressive condition inside and out for its age but does have some rust in the rear wheel wells. Fresh oil change, everything works, it’s ready to go. Fort Worth TEXAS, fly in and drive it home.

These Excursions are built on a truck chassis and the are very powerful. Up and down the mountain roads without downshifting and up shifting, maintains the same speed at all times. It surprises other drivers at a stoplight and you leave them in the dust. Great vehicle, have had ours since 2002, 7.3L Diesel with many upgrades.. 👍👍👍. 10-7-2021

I own one. It's not the most comfortable vehicle I've ever driven, but the driver's captain's seat is the most comfortable seat of any vehicle I've ever owned.

I’m potentially looking at one. What makes it lack in comfort while driving?

@@jovanbudial5812 it’s not uncomfortable. I’ve owned several Lincolns, so that’s why I said it’s not the most comfortable vehicle I ever drove. That said, for me personally, the driver’s captain seat in the 05 limited is the most comfortable seat. I drove from Atlanta to Philadelphia in a day, multiple times. It was not a chore in that seat. Good luck in your search.

With stock leaf springs it is surprisingly comfortable. Not sure why people say other IFS vehicles are significantly more comfortable.

This was my dream truck. I am serious bummed that Ford stopped making them. My new dream truck is the F350 Super Duty with the turbo-diesel. Though, the way politics and the climate police are taking over, the turbo-diesel and large F350 will be long gone by the time I can afford one.
