On my 2010 I have a traction control button but it's a separate light on my instrument panel so I was wondering if it still has control trac because it does automatically turn the traction control off when I hit 4 low
Cloud you help me please I am considering buying expedition 2016 or 17 , and I am like you looking for off-road adventure but I am not sure if the is the right thing it has a new 3.5 v6 engine with twin turbo and i am not sure if it has diff-lock Please look in it for me
@@eddiereycal3543 Hey. Not sure. Did you try putting it back in full 4x4 mode or 4 auto if on street and drive for a while and then switch out of it? I keep mine in 4A full time to engage all tires automatically if on slippery roads or sand or water on the road. 4A is ok on the street. Then switch out.
Jacknife Joe Hi! On my rig it actually said Advance Trac on the rear of the rig. I know other years it didn’t but 2007 and up I believe it did. Also the traction control button on the dash might signify that you have it too but not sure. :-)

The radio is a Cobra 75WXST 40 channel CB radio. So far it has worked excellent. Of course you need a good antenna and you need to tune the antenna in with a tuner. Once done it works excellent.
All Expeditions have the ControlTrac system. That is the automatic 4 wheel drive system . It was originally developed by Borg Warner and they called it TOD, Torque On Demand. Early models did not offer Traction Control. ControlTrac simply controls how much of the engine output is directed to the front driveshaft. Normally 100% of the output goes to the rear driveshaft, but if the sensors detect rear wheel spin, the system can divert up to 50% of the output to the front driveshaft. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ControlTrac
