The Flowmaster one needs at least a H pipe . It would help with the rasp . Or 2 resonators . I feel that v6 dual exhaust needs some form of crossover pipe X or H to balance it . I have v6 Mustang that took a lot of work to get it to sound good . Love the channel !!! Good source of information!!

First truck is a base 3.3L V6. Its got the flex fuel badge and you can tell by the sound alone. The Turbo's on the Ecoboost make it sound muffled and hushed, but the N/A 3.3L is louder and more raspy sounding. One could argue that's just a by product of the different mufflers each truck is using, but ''outside of the new 2022 Raptors'' with their complicated trombone style exhaust system all Ecoboost trucks outside of that regardless of the muffler type sound hushed.

the fact that it’s a v6 is inevitable but regardless i gotta hand it to the borla overall but i do like the flowmaster’s idle

Sounds like the F150 had too much beans and now has alot of gas releasing, with the sound with the borla muffler. The flowmaster sounds better, but sounds like it has upset tummy that needs pepto bismo. Should have tried it with the resonator on the truck.

Nope nope nope. Sounds like foreign bumble bee cars. I like the single pipe with Flowmaster fx with resonator still installed. Sounded great.

I'm not a big fan of a 3.5 liter ecoboost engine, but i had a f150 raptor with the same engine, i will go with borla pro-xs because it's deeper than flowmaster outlaw to be honest

Unfortunately I can't find many 5.0s in my area in the used truck market so I'm probably gonna end up with a 3.5L. I'll pass on the exhaust mods lol.

With a v6, probably want it as mellow as possible...maybe aftermarket but quiet...Just prefer v8s for sound...

The flowy sounds like dog sh*t imo.....like why the hell you want a v6 sounding like that (or at least a ford v6). At least the borla has some nice tone to it
