Daily drove my 2003 "Red Rocket" for forever. Last minor slip cost tons to fix bc of rare parts. He belongs in a museum one day. I am scared to take him out in Chicago in fear a cartel person spots it, loads it in a trailer and he's gone to Mexico. I will never sell the truck for any amount ever. Best purchase of my life!

That's because it was an excerpt from a YT video of two morons jumping the vehicle too hard and too fast. They pretty much totaled the thing because they thought it could fly through the air like some kind of off-roading airplane. Also if that jump totaled that vehicle it would have totaled any other vehicle.

You should maybe go do some research on todays f150s they have 3 bad motors right now. 2.7s like to suck turbo turbine blades into the motor. 3.5s and their timing chain issue. And they can’t keep oil in the 5.0s. I wont even mention all their electronic issues

Great engine but you gotta think it barely made any power. There's actually been people who have sought after to destroy the Ford 300 and were unsuccessful. There's been people have ran them an entire year without oil and nothing happened.

Eric Kindel The EcoBoost was designed by Ford with inspiration from the Mazda L Engine; therefore, Mazda gets credit for the engine’s origins. I do also believe that foreign countries (outside of the U.S.) have engines that perfectly resemble Mazda engines due to emissions standards. The origins of the trucks are strictly American and, I think, that’s what OP meant to say.

Eric Kindel See that’s where your wrong, like I said, The EcoBoost was a loose interpretation of the “L” engine, which was originally designed by Ford/Mazda. Mazda NEVER built the engines for Ford, But Ford and Mazda co-created the engines. They’re shared between the two companies and the only difference between the two is different nameplates. Plus, the technology used in the EcoBoost was during 1993 when Ford still had part ownership of Mazda and the engine-family name was “Duratec”. The 1.5l to 2.5l EcoBoost engine’s are, in technicality, Ford creations. P.S. calling me American doesn’t do anything to insult my intelligence, I’m quite happy to be American; however, I can’t say you’re happy with your nationality. Get schooled.
