I just bought a used 2010 and lifted the back seat to look for the jack but saw the empty cubby there and thought it was missing. So I went on eBay and bought a used one then went to put it in and realized the case was too big. After screwing around I discovered the cubby pulled out and there was my jack, brand new and unused! I wish I had seen this video earlier, everyone talks about the back seat latch but no one mentions the jack. Thank you. Know anyone who needs a F150 jack kit? LOL.
On news F-150's Ford puts a pull strap for the passenger side. Built right has made a latch to install on the driver side. They are an American company and there are a lot of cheap import knock offs to avoid.
That's only in crew cabs. I have supercab and the seats can't fold forward, just the seat bottom can go up. Also my jack was stored on a rack mounted to the floor.
I wonder if the back seat on a 2013 F-150 4x4 with the suicide door has the same release for the rear of the back seat?? I notice this one is the actual 4 door version.
I seriously was thinking if they'd look there of course they tore apart a couple of my cars pretty hard and I went to prison for what was under the fuse box under the hood... been sober 5 yrs now and don't even get my truck searched now when I get speeding and seat belt tickets... ( and I get alot of seat belt tickets)
