Hello! I had watched your video a lot of times, and I bought my own st line brand new back in October. In general I love this car but I have a question. How does your clutch feel? I think I have a defective clutch. Apart from it feeling a bit stiff, It has a "scratchy" feeling when pressed or depressed. You can't hear it, only feel it. At first I thought that was normal because the car was new so I had to do a few miles first before I started looking for problems. Now after 2000 miles, the problem persists and actually got worse over time, to the point that now everytime I change gears I get this scratchy feeling through my leg and it is a real disturbance. Another thing that happens is that when I go over 2.500 - 3.000 rpm on the highway and press the clutch, rpms go up until they go down again without me pressing the gas. Are those things normal? Should they happen? My dealership insists it's normal but I have driven a lot of cars and never felt something like this again.
I have a 2012 fiesta 82hp and the "scratch" feeling of the clutch is normal for me. It happens being scratchy only when it is cold outside or when i havent used the car for few weeks. I think it's only plastic moving a bit and ripping somewhere.
Recently got this car in Titanium-trim plus some extra's. Steers, shifts and sits very well, like a C-segment car. Quite mature drive. The re-designed 1.0 liter ecoboost engine with now 95 BHP performs imho very well. Ford claims it's more economic than the former 1.0 Ecoboost 100. I haven't done much kilometres, so cannot confirm that yet.
@@forza223bowe5 I think you cannot tell the difference. My brother drives the 2017 100 BHP version. It doesn't feel slower than his car. In sport-modus, which the 2017 model does not have, it reacts even quicker on the throttle. Anyway I would not call this car underpowered.
@@forza223bowe5 They re-designed the engine (look on the net for further details) to heat up quicker and to be more fuel-economic. Still this engine feels quite nippy. This engine will do, unless you live in the Alpes. You might want the 125 BHP version in the mountains.
I subscribed because i like what you're doing. And using the same stretch of road each time is good. Remember though that dashboard speedos over-read by about 7-10% Dashboard vs GPS 200kmh = 180kmh 100kmh = 90kmh 60kmh = 54kmh 30kmh = 27kmh
I have 2016 Fiesta ecoboost 100. If you like to drive and enjoy a great handling car, get the Fiesta. If you prefer a more refined "luxury" drive get the Peugeot (or a VW Polo)
@@cmartin_ok thank you. I want a sport car but with minimum cust and I think the st line is very sport to me, fast, great habdling and stability. Im not a pro driver but I like the corners
I am sooooooo jealous of you man!!! You got the best and cutest small car in the world, surely a Ford Fiesta makes all those crappy super luxury cars redundant and unnecessary. Ford Fiesta is the best!!!
I have the same car since 2 years, mine speeded till 188 maybe could give me these couple of km for hour more idk. Anyway i m very happy with this car, i drove more than 25k km with it, never a problem, it‘s strong, economic, stable.. would buy it 3mln of time again
What model of fiesta is the one he’s driving? Outside its exactly like a Plus/Trend but it has the interiors of a Titanium /other superior model... like that steering wheel shouldn’t be inside a Plus/Trend
Ich habe ein ST Line mit 140 ps. Top zufrieden! Lt. Tacho 220 km/h.

Definitiv! Is sogar recht drehfreudig.
When I picked up my Ford Fiesta (2010) the Salesman told me that this break-in is not necessary any more. One just needs to make sure the engine is in proper operating temperature. And my Fiesta did over 110.000 km before I sold it due to a broken air con. So the enginge should be able to do it. Besides he's probably driving a rental car... You can also tell by the plastic attached to the key with the serialnumbers and barcodes on it, that this is a rental car. 0:52
@@Sh1sh4d1ct3d its not necessary under normal circumstances. But this isn't normal. A new engines has high friction and is tight and will get hot even though they are very well made and far better than they used to be. The first 1000 miles pretty much determine the next 100,000. I wouldn't thrash it when it's brand new, it will probably loosen up a lot and go faster after 10k. My Mondeo did a lot.
@@Sh1sh4d1ct3d Salesmen don't know what they are talking about.... There is still a break in period albeit not like "back in the day" especially with tight tolerances you should still give the engine time to smooth out marks left from tools for at least 500km.
@@Kyzox2000 waaaait.hold up. Dowsnt a break in period mean that you shouldnt go over 4,000 rpm and all crazy, dumping the clutch and stuff like that? What do you mean?
Anders Nielsen you can get even lower: I had one of these 100hp for a month and if you drive really gently, you can get as low as 4.6L/100km. Now I have a 140hp and I’ve averaged 6.4L/100km normal driving
Really, in France? Where I drive at 130 and get passed by buses. I think people drive at least 150 km/h. And cars from Monaco, don't get me started. At least 200. Ah, you said legally. That's fair enough. But that ain't stopping people from flooring it.
I haven't seen anything to negative about his driving and it's a good question were his camera is sitting I don't think it's on his head but around his neck witch means you will see much less movement but yes it does look like that he very rarely checks his blind spot
Manual gearbox in 2019? Nice! There is a myth here in south america that nobody likes manual gearbox cars in Europe and USA and these cars will disappears.
yep europe is nothing like the usa, europe like small cars, small engines and manual gearboxs, i wont say that auto isnt becoming a bit more popular, but still a tiny minority, i was looking for used small car with auto, but they are maybe less than 10 percent, in the usa, i would say its 99 percent auto

Point is it can have a 12000 hp engine and it will still be a shit car saw a brand new one smoking just the other day Electric cars are coming and I doubt Ford will lead the way
There is no way that a non-turbo 1.0 engine would rev at only 2500rpm at 120km/h like this one. For example, the VW Polo 1.0 (non-turbo) revs around 3500-3600rpm at that speed, which means it is far more stressed, noisier and consumes more fuel. This Ford engine is great as far as small engines go.

Deaktivierte Tagfahrleuchten? Hab ich was verpasst
