I tried this on a fiesta mk 5 it disabled the remote but when I tried to get in with the key it wouldn't unlock it has also put the side lights on so tomorrow I've got to break in to the car and then charge the battery up beware.
Hi, Need your help. I've similar fiesta , bought few days ago, it didn't come with the remote control locking. it does have central locking. So do you know how can i check whether it can be converted into remote control locking by just buying a new key or do i need to buy and install an after market remote control kit in it?? please thanks
you just have to buy keyless remote system from ebay, I installed one on my ka, as it did have central locking but only by key, it's not too difficult, you can find tutorials on youtube. just need to connect wires to fuse box and two wires from one of the door's lock. or if you just want to test it if it had a remote system installed, see if that turning the key 4 times thing works (key programming)
