Miles would be the same as the mileage is stored in the car’s computer the dash is just a display

@@thendomutavhatsindi2009 I took it to mechanic, they could not reprogram used cluster. So, I had to buy a whole new cluster and with labor it cost almost 900$.

@@kurisurs I tried replacing with used one. Security lock was on. I finally broke down and took it to mechanic. They could not reprogram a used cluster so I ended up buying a new. All because my check engine light(does not have light bulbs in these clusters). For new cluster it's 400$. My vehicle is fiesta se 2011. So becareful, used clusters can't be reprogrammed. At least, not in my car.

AmazingKey really appreciate the reply and the heads up for others reading this, but that really sucks what you had to go through. I was looking at how you can program them but you need expensive hardware/software like carprog :-(
