What you don't mention is all the annoying warning beeps on the corsa. It never stops with them. I had to turn off everything in the menus just to stop me getting out and walking. Also, the interior is so dark that it's like driving in the dark on a summers day.
Corsa SRi driver here, as mentioned in the video the sports mode actually makes the steering heavier on top of the mentioned pedal response time changes. One other thing sports mode does in these newer Corsa's is makes the engine louder. The engineers assured me it wasn't sound system tricks, but who knows.
I have a Corsa SRI Premium and i am about to part exchange for a Fiesta St line. The fiesta feels quicker sounds better and looks better. The Corsa got boring very quickly.
I would definitely go with Fiesta (but not the 1.0) cause it's more sporty and better looking car. I don't understand people who say that Fiesta looks outdated...I mean even the older Fiesta looks modern. Corsa is a decent looking car, but it just can't be compared to Fiesta.
Excellent review - Top Gear used to be useful like this before it became 3 clowns smashing up licence payers money like juvenile asbos. Well done for a hugely balanced and informative video. Notwithstanding - 'Tech' i.e. LED screens aren't a measure of quality. The Toyota RAV4, Hyundai and Audi 'instrument' screens lack any quality and look like they've been lifted from a ZX Spectrum; give me analogue any day - with exception to the Lexus RcF which has the best combination I've ever seen.
