Did this last night and sure enough, they were both completely clogged and packed with muddy leaves. And thanks to you I won't be replacing 2 blower motors. You were literally the last video out of about 20 of them that I was going to watch on replacing the blower or actuator before I started on it. Only kept looking because my symptoms were different than every other video. And because you responded to have me watch this one, I probably saved $120, 4 or 5 more hours of trying to find out why the new one didn't work after the next time it rained and burnt up the new one. So thank you for commenting so quickly and being the only person out of hundreds in videos and comment sections, to lead me to the right path. I would have probably just given up and taken it in if it blew up the second time and spent $800+ dollars at least. And although I had to work on my car 2 hours last night that I hadn't anticipated, it was worth every minute to avoid future money and frustration. I had hell getting off those wiper arms though. and i snapped off at least 5 clips. But my car is 12 years old so things get brittle. I have a huge kit of 15 different style clips though so I had them all like new luckily. Thanks again.

Glad it worked out in you favor and any money saved nowadays is a good thing.

I had this issue too. Maybe this caused my blower to not blow right?? Getting water in the motor? I actually thought it was the evaporator just freezing up because my blower wasn't running while I used the rear ac only. No kidding, if this is what fouled my blower, you may have just saved me way more trouble. Because originally my blower was running but no air flowing. Then I started using the rear only. Next few days I had water all in the car and sh-t luck would happen that the 3 days I ran it like that IT ALSO stormed each night. So I thought I had a door leak or something. Then the blower went out completely and and I finally deduced that it was a frozen evaporator defrosting all over the floorboard. What terrible timing for all that to come together at the exact same time. But maybe this was the root of my problem from the get.

Just fixed this on passenger side easy by opening hood and grabbing out the rubber drain trap and cleaning it out. Squeeze it and it comes right out. It goes back in easy. No other disassembly required.

Whatever works for you some may have more debris than others especially if you park near trees
