stock brakes? i recently upped my brakes to DBA 4000 fronts , thinking it would be better, but since they are bigger than originals i had to buy a thin brembo pads, the brakes literally warped 2 times already after 1500km, and i wasnt even on a track , just casually driving back streets for fun so far.. i dont know how that could happen , i thought they would be better, if anyone has any experience with this id be glad to hear ur opinion on this anyway, really nice driving, i love RS !
I use DBA T3 with stock brembo caliper, brake pad is Endless MX72. I go to track days a lot and found the shortcoming of the break system isn't in itself. The factory brake cooling duct is directing wind/cool air to the whole wheel arch which reduce the cooling effect since most of the cool air isn't guided toward the disc. So later on I puchased some 3rd party cooling duct that directing air straight to the disc via a whole on the back side of the disc. Since then, my brake system is far less prone to overheating on track. And it's a very cheap way of improving the overall brake performance. Hopefully my experience will do some help, dude. Cheers, we're blessed to own this car. It's my favourite car till now. I've driven the new G20 M3 and found it to be too civilized. I'll stick with my RS.
