Darryl MN Lol I drive a MK1 regular Focus, not RS. Back in the day it stood out from the crowd and looking back, there was no car like it back then for that money. Can't imagine driving the RS daily.

I have a 2008 Focus ST with 360bhp/420ftlb with full coilovers all round, big brake upgrade, quaiffe diff and sticky tyres and it is ridiculous. There isn't much that can keep with it on the road. Amazing machines

Great review, stands out from the rest and would say its equally if not better quality then ex-top gear. Great production with the music, camera angles, sound. The combination of facts and fun is perfect along with the emotions and experience of the car you express. I would love to visit the ford heritage centre because ford is my favourite car manufacturer as quite a lot of their cars are underestimated by others, my dad has a mk2 Ford Focus St and I love it and no one expects the sort of performance it has... Also the mk2 Ford Focus RS 500 is my dream car that I would own over any other. Great video guys and keep up the good work. 👌

Nice vid guys! Love me some fast Fords. I have a heavily modded '72 Capri and a Mk1 Focus RS. I love my Mk1 with 330bhp and 330 lb/ft stage 3 tune and quite light 1275 kg weight. It's an appreciating car too. I missed out on the RS500 Mk2 but I'm making early inquiries for the new RS "special" that should eventually surface. Hopefully I can grab one this time around.

You are so lucky to have visited there!!!! I am absolutely mad for fords so obviously I follow a stupid amount of ford pages on facebook and I see pictures from this place all the time! Am I correct in thinking it is called the "bonkers ford collection"? I only have a focus at the moment but fairly soon I hope to get my first classic ford, probably a mk4 escort xr3 or an RS turbo if I manage to save for long enough. And one day... ONE DAY.. I will get a mk2 escort :D

The RS500 was my dream car some years ago. Things have changed but it still looks insanely cool, I dont think the successor can live up to that. Id love to take a RS500 for a ride :/ Dont know If you actually read the comments but Alex car reviews are really good, I always feel like watching TopGear UK, keep it up :)

The Focus RS, for me it was the best FWD drive experience you could ever get. Its too bad to see the FWD focus go tho. And I'm afraid that the AWD version won't be as agile as the FWD one...

I have it’s baby brother the ST225, and it is my first dip in the fast Ford pool and it has pretty much a similar mix of ingredients, the 5 cylinder engine and if my ST is anything to go by that RS500 Focus will be a monster 👹

Seen this RS500 Black matte in person 2 weeks ago at Cars N' Coffee, absolutely stunning and one of a kind. Shame they only made 500 of it as same with the Racing Puma that have also been looked over and is very underrated.

Bought mine new had problems sold for 27,000 and bought a 2006 Chevy Silverado 3500 Diesel never had a problem. Do not regret selling it.

One if the best cars I've ever owned they are fun on your own when you give it to them they not fast but they are a drivers car you can really get in and out of corners in them and they are fun on gravel where I live
