Rich, Thank you for all the videos over the years. You have taught me a lot since I started watching 10 years ago. You helped me so much with the SL1 & SC1. From installing cruise control to replacing intake manifold gaskets. You are awesome!
Hi Rich, it's nice to hear your voice again after at least 8 year I find you out in youtube videos. Since that time you was my favorite mechanic because you make any repair easy with an excellent explanation for beginners or diy's like me. Happy New year 2021, I wish you the best.
Hi sir my Ford focus is having blow by problems I've changed the PVC EGR and gas canister and my vacuum lines are okay. Would this happen to cause blowby in the crank case. Thank you also no coolant or fuel in oil so I'm not worried about a head gasket.
Yeah dude basically there's two problems 1. Secondary air pump is failing because liquid got inside 2. You need to replace the secondary air injection valve. It's a pretty easy process, I managed to do both The valve failing leads to the air pump catching liquid. I imagine that because the air pump is failing we get a nasty smell
I swaped out both and the check engine light and code went away. Drove the car 100+ miles with no issue. However I got into a car accident because of the rain, fml
Well done rich, it fought you a bit but it had no chance :-D I'm not supprised about the connector lock snapping, i've had to use cable ties to hold some together. The idea of a lock is nice, but some are just a pig
Yup I changed one of these on a Mercedes $600.00 from the dealer and all they are is an overrated air pump which turns on when the car starts to fake the computer into thinking the engine is running clean and then shuts off. What a joke. Lucky I found 1 used for $125.00.
