I drive a 2nd gen too and got it up to 170kmh. I'm suprised over how stable it actually is at that speed!

I reticently got this car, before I had watched this video, thanks! I'm really happy with it. I'd say it gets a bit less comfortable starting at 120 Km/h, or to go that fast in a small car in general I would say. Still it's not bad at all.

@@X41N3 Yeah it's a bit stressful going on the high way too long. I had this car for about a year. Then got a Polo instead with cruise control.

Ich hatte den auch mal. Für 69 PS war er wirklich flott. Auf gerader Strecke machte er seine 175 km/h, an Gefällestrecken hatte ich ihn sogar 2 mal auf 195 km/h gebracht. Das war dann allerdings nicht mehr wirklich angenehm. Der Durchzug war auch ok und besser als bei dem 2008er Fiesta mit dem 1,25er 82 PS Motor, den ich vorher gefahren bin. Der Verbrauch war noch ok. Ich habe über 95.000 km einen Schnittverbrauch von 6,3 Litern erzielt. Der niedrigste Wert lag bei 5,3 und der nächste bei 8,4 Litern.

@@truvi2461 heute fahre ich auch anders 😉😅 wenn kein Tempolimit angegeben ist, stelle ich den Tempomaten auf 130 und gut ist… sehr entspannt und die Ankunftszeit am Zielort ist dadurch auch nicht viel später 🙃

And you think realy that the golf 4 was driving fast ? 😂 I had the two cars (ka 1.2 69 and mk4 tdi 115) and brlieve me there is no chance for the ford if the golf driver would accelerate

@@alexi6636bro the 1.2 fire 69hp is the only one petrol engine that exists in this car so there is no chance to be another engine, it's a 1.2 and it's faster as you see in the vidéo

We also feel comfortable with one hand, but as a role model we have to drive two handed.. Besides this, two handed is safer at higher speeds. For example the BMW 325d video which is currently online was very instabile while driving. C'est une excellente voiture je te la conseille vivement. Son couple maxi est disponible à 3000trs du coup t'as pas besoin de monter dans les tours pour exploiter l'agilité du moteur. Le 0 a 120 130 se fait très très bien elle n'a rien à envier face à une polo 1.4 85 ou bien une 207 Vti 95 surtout avec son poids maîtrisé (moins de 900kg), son moteur 1.2 fire d'origine fiat de 70ch qui est extra fiable et son étage ment de boîte un peut plus long que les voitures mentionnées qui te permet de faire les trajets sur autoroute avec une sonorité de moteur confortable (en 5eme tu es à 3000trs à 110kmh et 4000 trs à 150) mais par contre des que tu mets la clim le comportement un peut dynamique de l'auto disparaît directement. Un autre point, elle est extraordinaire en tenue de route.

Usually I drive about 120km / h 3,000 revolutions. I'm afraid to exceed 3.5 thousand revolutions not to damage the engine. Long-term driving at this speed is the way to damage the engine.
