Great review Aaron. Had a look at Ka+ at dealership and it was surprisingly comfortable and everything was easy to hand. Pity Ford didn't offer the eco boost engine though. The new Fiesta looks a better bet :-)
Cheers Andrew. I reckon the reason for the lack of Ecoboost is because A) it would cost more and B) it could potentially take away sales from the Fiesta...
culd you please actually compare it to other cars in its class? stop comparing it to the ones above it. If you compare it vs vw up, toyota aygo, hyundai i10....it's actually a very good car
Hello comedyman112, thanks for watching and thanks for commenting. I can see where you're coming from, but the Ka+ is bigger than the car it replaced, and as such, it sits in a bit of a peculiar part of the market. It's bigger than your average city car, but it's not quite a supermini, although I'll happily accept that 'officially', it's a city car. However, I'd argue it's a compliment that I've compared to cars in its class. For what it's worth, I'm not the only one to compare the Ka+ to a Sandero in some form, or indeed an MG3.
Nice review. That's an interesting detail about opening the boot; my mate's old facelifted MG ZR was the same he had to use the boot release on the key to open it. The equipment is pretty decent for what she is too. Though it would be hard to pick between it or a slightly used Fiesta. Slightly used Ford Cars do go noticeably cheaper than Volkswagens.
Hello buddy, thanks very much. Yeah, the boot is awkward, but it's not a dealbreaker. Mind you, I can imagine that being a pain when you stood in the pouring rain and the key is not on your person. In regards to this or a slightly used Fiesta, I think that's quite an easy one - I'd rather have the Fiesta.
Why is a top speed of 99mph "prehistoric" when we are only allowed a maximum speed of 70mph in the UK? Your comment makes no sense to me. On the other hand, 0-60mph in 13+ seconds really should be considered to be "prehistoric", yet you seem to consider this to be quite good? Otherwise, I found it a good helpful video!
