Massive thanks needs to go out to Ford UK for allowing us this epic opportunity.
This car does everything so well and for me it is a car i would buy with my own money and warrants a 90% rating from me out of 100% for it's category. It is now the car to beat for around this price of its type.

Joe Green thanks fella, really appreciate the kind words. It’s one of the most underrated cars I drove last year and it really gets silly bad press for pathetic reasons. Cracking car and can’t wait to see what they do with these next. Check out some of our other videos and hope you subscribe :-) :-D

Looked like so much fun wish you could get your hands on a GT350 those cars are badass

Billy it was so much fun, it's such a fantastic car. At the moment the UK market doesn't get the GT350 version but I've heard so many good things about it. I hate to think how good it will be considering how good this GT was. I love the idea of the flat plane crank and the huge 398mm front brakes, that thing would be a real weapon on track. If i ever have the chance i'll be sure to get one and drive the heck of it. Keep an eye on the channel billy we have some amazing reviews coming up, keep in touch on here and keep watching and thanks for your comment.

I have a e92 frozen m3 with comp pack auto. I'm looking at changing to the stang this summer but have heard negative reviews with the auto box have you had chance to test an auto?
@PeakPerformanceReviews
@PeakPerformanceReviews 7 лет назад
SensiVybz it certainly won't allow you to be quite as free with the rear end from what I'm told but I know of a friend who has driven both and they were still quite positive in there thoughts about the car and still rated it very highly. Unfortunately I haven't been out in one.

@@PeakPerformanceReviews my pony or stang has been a really great choice for me. My dad is a former mechanic (he's retired he also fixed motorcycles as well as raced them). I asked my dad what the mustang would be like compared to a nother sports car that I was going to rent and he said it would be in the garage more than the Mustang would. I'm glad that I didn't rent now!!! The guy whom I was going to rent from cried when he found out that I was buying a mustang lol

Kim Holcomb your dad sounds well cool Kim. It was a great choice that’s for sure and I’m glad some people go with these are everyone seems to default and pick things like M3’s etc so it’s a good different choice and I’m glad there available in the UK.

I have no issue with ford making this global by adopting the 5 liter and getting rid of the solid axle. The rest of the world like their cars to be the final package when they roll off the showroom floor. I personally will only take the 4.6 modular engine and the solid axle because the mustang is about pulling stuff out and replacing them. The s195 with stiffer springs and a blower are just a blast. The rear axle, I find this a little funny, is not that big of a deal. If you hit a bump in a tight turn, you gotta know how to keep it in line with some moderate adjustments but the trade off with the new axle is you need a ford launch (burnout) mode. The s195 didn't have nothing like that! You just rev to 3500 take your foot off the clutch and slam the gas and brake. That axle can take so much punishment. The 4.6 has much thicker block walls that you can put infinite boost in it without blowing it.

Rusty i have to agree with many of your points, from all I've ever read about old school Mustangs and having been in 3 or 4 there is no doubt you can't replace totally what the old school one give to you. Exactly why old school cars never die. It's great Ford did this and they done a great job but yep nothing like that old school feel. the old rear solid axled cars have a totally and unique different feel and one of which is kinda fun no doubt. Also as you say they have a legendary strength in the rear axle and back then were built for huge strength as well as the block being a beast. It shows though that the guy who helped design the latest rendition Dave Pericak managed to keep so many characters of old ones while bringing this one into the new school, helps that he owned loads of Mustangs and was a huge Mustang enthusiast and that shows. Thanks for your comment Rusty, hope you stick around on the channel and subscribe, it's lovely to have good knowledgeable, intellectual people like yourself on here commenting.

You are right to some extent. Old TransAm sedan vintage racecars can still go 'like stink' with their solid rear axles. I had a 2003 mach-1 before getting a new GT like this one. I ran on SCCA tracks for many years, with several cars, using a solid rear axle ("muscle car") and when set up right I had no problem hunting Porsches in the S turns. But it was always being mindful of every bump and heave, in the road, to "set up" for it. You had to prepare/prevent, in advance, for the twitches. Sometimes it meant a less than ideal line in a few turns. The new ones make that problem go away. They handle so well with the Perf-Packs that it almost makes driving a little too easy.

This is one of my early vids and reviews but if I’m honest there are plenty of car channel that have taken longer to get to the main meat of the driving, If you watch a car wow vid sometimes it’s about 8 mins before you get to the start of the drive etc.

William Jordan oh I agree, production quality of this (being a 3 year old early video of mine) is low for sure and I’m with you on that. Watch some of my newer videos, you may prefer and see a vastly increased production quality ...... or you may not agree. We defiantly learn and evolve or certainly at least try to, back then I had no idea the direction the channel would take and thankfully it’s going well now. Learn from you mistakes they say but honestly you know what throughout the years I’ve taken criticism and used it to improve what I do. Thank you for watching fella honestly I appreciate that and I actually appreciate the honesty also.
