Good video! Very helpful and I think it covers pretty much all late model Ford C4's. I'm working on a 71 Maverick and the safety neutral switch matched up with the old one you removed. One thing that may help others, I found my replacement at Autozone (PN F480) that has the same colors and matches the connector on these late model Mustangs and Mavericks. Red/Lt Blue is to the NSS. the Blk/Pink and Wht/Prpl are for the backup light switch (I checked mine with a meter to make sure). Hope this helps in addition to the great info on your video.

Wow $22 for a new switch, I just bought one in my country and it cost AUD$103, what crazy mark ups. Awesome video, I've been having trouble trying to get the reversing lights to turn off when the transmission is in park, just can't seem to reach the sweet spot. I have to slightly over rotate the switch by about 5mm but then I can't get the two side bolts in. The start of your video had me thinking about the mounting position of the switch, up side down or right way up?
