Yes the 79 series is the most common, however the 80 series is what I have also will work but with massaging the back side after heating it up.

@@swrvtech that's what I have with front & rear Spartan lockers on a xj hp dana 30 axle sas. Along with axle sleeves, chromoly axle shafts teraflex high steer knuckles etc. Riding on a 6" coil spring lift on 33x12.50r15 interco thornbirds with a set of 15x10 fuel anza wheels. I plan on doing a rear leaf delete and install short arm link suspension like the jeeps have, but still utilize having my fuel tank

@genoory5090 heck yea sounds like a similar set up to what we’re running, we have sleeves, c gussets, arb air locker, bigger shafts and u joints, wj knuckles and the bigger brakes with that swap with the high steer factory knuckle and Chevy one ton tie rods, also my cs are rotated and rewelded for a better caster/driveshaft angle
