Lovely my dads mate had two a Safire and an escort cossy then a cossy van called the tango van it was in max power mag years ago . I remember being passenger in them all as a youngster needed a neck brace after a ride out !
@Ill Will Yes I have been driving since the 1980's and know what you mean. It's much more fun in a RWD car though, much more controllable and can drive from a standstill.
The correct way to drive a cossie, when i was a kid one of the guys who had a 4x4 sapphire cossie used to tie a large tractor tire to the back of it and give people rides around this disused industrial area lol

@@jaywalkercrew4446 u can easy have 250-300hp in a 80's 2liter pinto without any big wear on the engine. just do it right and use good oils a change the oil often. thats the thing ppl dont do. Changing oils.
Because the early versions of the sierra sapphire (-1989)were 2wd and the later models (1990-1992) were 4wd. So stating whether it is 2wd and 4wd is quite important

Are we glad they put rev limiters on these type of vehicles. Here let me show you my rev limiter. It keeps me from being stupid an blowing up my car. Can't fix stupid
