I absolutely love how stable the Bugatti looks at these speeds. Low, piercing, and unwavering - like a 4400 pound bullet. It is the purest, most beautiful conception of automobile speed I have ever seen.

Best part of the Autobahn A2. The 40km between Ziesar and Magdeburg. There are only 2 or 3 light bends, the rest is straight ahead! You can watch the Autobahn on Google Maps. He starts at "Tank & Rast Raststätte Buckautal Nord" and goes West to Exit "Theeßen" which is 17km in Distance. Time needed: 2:45 min. If you Calculate the average Speed between the Start and the End (1km away from Exit "Theeßen"): 351km/h or 218 mph

I used to live in Germany, where i took my Golf MKIV TDI with 250cv. I remember well to be cruising the motorways at 220kph and seeing somebody behind, fast as a jet, flashing the lights. These guys would have jumped over me 😂 Those were the days, now I live in Australia, my Golf is in Spain and here I drive a Jimny that is cute and great to explore the continent but so sloooooooow...

Respect to Germany for building and maintaining these highways where you can even drive 400+ km/h and special respect to the drivers who is driving mainly in the right lane.

For some reason when I watch vids about Bugattis' capabilities, I wish they make a big limo-ish sedan that can go up to 500 kmph. That'd be a 'something-else'! Imagine a VIP passenger sprawled in the rear seat sipping tea from an elegant thin wall porcelain cup, whilst the car gently coasts at 300+ mph driven by a chauffeur in white gloves.

It truly is remarkable to witness how stable the car performs at such high speeds.

Fun facts : You have to use a special key to "unlock" the 400kph mode of the car, you'll use your full tank in about 15 minutes at this speed, and after the run you have to change the 4 rims and tyres in case it has been deformed by the speed

22 years ago a friend of mine picked me up from Hannover airport and we took the A7 to Hildesheim where his home was. We were only doing about 160kph and a couple of Audis passed us like we were in a clapped-out Kombi. I literally can't imagine having something come up behind you going a full 240kph faster, those other drivers probably didn't even have time to identify what type of car... or low flying aircraft... it was. Imagine the view and the sound from one of those overpasses as the Chiron screamed toward it. Awesome stuff!

Even if the USA had roads built later than 1955, and KEPT UP, all too many American drivers love to amble along stupidly, hogging the passing lane. (We live in Oregon, whose drivers have NO CLUE about the passing lane LAW here, and apparently (for some reason) "feel safer" oozing along in the left lane. Then, if you politely flick your high beams at them, they get all "maddy-waddy."

The Bugatti Chiron is capable of 420 kph when the Super sport version is capable of 490 kph. French cars are fast.

I know ppl are going to comment on this saying that its too fast for a public road but as a matter of fact a massive amount if traffic analysis and planning went into selecting a road and time to do this run. Furthermore, they did it in a car that can comfortably go another 40-50 kmh faster than it went there (meaning the car was way within its capabilities). This was an impressive and intelligent way to push the boundaries of what is possible on the public road.

Wow... even if I drive 230-285 kmh (~140-177 mph) it feels sometimes fearful passing other cars knowing that anyone can land in your lane in just matter of seconds, because no one sees you coming at that speed. ...and the one who lands in your lane, because he/she overtakes another car does it mostly btw. 150-180 (~93-112 mph) which is 50-100+ kmh (31-62 mph) less than your speed. It's like the overtaker would stand when you're approching him at 50-100+ kmh (31-62 mph). Insane speed difference!! And 400+ kmh..WOW!!!! They really knew that area and sector of the Autobahn and got really lucky. I'd never ever drive that fast on a public road even if I could.

This car is more stable at 416 km/h than my father's Citroen Xsara Picasso at 20 km/h :-)

The Chiron can brake from 400 to 0 in 9 sec. within 490m. All cars are in the far right lane. There was an earlier drive through the section to make sure there is nothing on the road.
