This video is about two Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 4x4 Group A cars I recorded during the 2020 San Marino RallyLegend. They were driven by Italian drivers Gianfranco Cunico (white/Tamoil one), who was the official Ford Motorsport driver together with Malcolm Wilson back when the Sierra 4x4 was unveiled, and Renato Travaglia (black/orange one), one of the most winning Italian rally drivers between the '90s and the first half of 2000s.
The Sierra RS Cosworth 4x4 was unveiled in 1990 ahead of the World Rally Championship season of the same year as a replacement for the previous Sierra Gr. A generation which was a 2WD car. The 4WD Sierra had some success but didn't manage to score a single win in the WRC, not being really able to compete with the Lancia Integrale especially because of its size and weight.
