very good video, I have exactly the same Ford Transit with the same code p0229, along with P0404 Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system - range/performance problem, do you think the particulate filter needs to be cleaned? thank you
Hey jimmy , I smoked tested my car today , via the air intake , I’ve got smoke coming from the exhaust when I fill the air intake up with smoke is that normal ?
I know it wouldn't be ideal for mobile use but have you ever tried an induction heater on a blocked vaporizer? I mean to clean it not removing a stuck one.
Sounds a good idea😮what do think jimmy, other question, what days are you going to be at birm, mechanical, 1 day, all 3, could you advise, wanting to meet you, and many others, thankyou, Keith....
Seriously blocked dpf on these can cause intake manifold pressure to be as low as 600 psi which would trigger those two codes, low boost and incorrect pressure
I,ve been tricked before with exhaust temperature sensor on ford transit, using launch diagnostic. If you look closer, on diagnostic, you will find exhaust temperature sensor 11 12 and 13 on Read data stream ,which refer to first, second and third temperature sensor, which is not fitted on this model. You have just 2 exhaust temperature sensor.
