Manufacturing footage of the Ford Transit at the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plantin (KCAP) in Claycomo, Missouri, United States.
The plant opened in 1951 for military production and converted to auto assembly in 1956. It currently builds the Ford F-150 alongside the Transit.

I remember the Mk2 Transit my late father had when he worked for Essex County Council. Loved it when he put the flashing yellow light.

Just received my 2022 Transit 150 AWD Ecoboost 148 WB medium high roof after almost exactly 365 day wait. Been hauling lumber so far but plan on traveling for fishing & camping trips with it. Cool to see the plant where it was built right here in the USA.

You can't find any 2022 because they stopped making them.You have to order a 2023 and wait a year.Pretty crazy.

I ordered a Storyteller Mode LT Ford Transit. I was supposed to take delivery of it on March 2022. However, I was told by SToryteller that delivery is pushed back until Dec 2022. I guess Ford can’t produce them fast enough.

and yet, my van has been on order since sept of 2021, and still not scheduled for build. and your building this that wont even get me over the state line without needing a charge.

Yeah, they just told me yesterday we couldn't order one for our church. At least not the gasoline one I guess. I bet this is all you can order. A 4 hr drive will now take 9 hrs as you'll have to stop several times to charge for 3 hrs. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I receive my van and has alot of problems the show a problem with 4x4 and its electric 2wd I take the van in 2 different dealership and no fix da install new software and now only goes 45 por hour in the freeway wen check light its on

The market price for these are ridiculous. From last year to this year about 10k difference for the same Van. Vanlife and the Stupid housing market has made the Price sky rocket. Just because wood prices went up, talk about a Domino effect.

Wow, I thought the Transit plant is just in Turkey. I didn't knew that American drive Transits. I built the Ford Fiesta in Cologne Germany. Later just Prototypes in the Pilot Plant Cologne.

Ordered a brand new Ford Transit from a dealership last October in Melbourne, Australia. They told me it's going to be a 12 month wait. So I rather wait, because it's the best van on the market.

Run it in well and it won’t burn any oil I’m 11 yrs in mk7 brought brand new been a good van tbh Drive it well / maintain it it will work

i am glad o ordered Mercedes sprinter with all options last October will be getting in June, maybe in a future I will go electric but I need 500 miles range otherwise not worth it

When will the American cars break downs, and how often? What I heard is that the labor unions threatened to go on strike, demand raise, etc. I've yet to hear American auto workers vow to build the best cars in the industry.

A uniformed workforce is a cohesive one... putting the team at its centre...I have not seen a Japanese or European assembler in a dirty t shirt ..producing a thirty grand plus vehicle before...and just before I had gone into the markrt to buy Ford's e mobility strategy.

No such thing as a "safety uniform" unless you're handling HAZMAT materials and they are all wearing safety shoes. They come in many styles and look very much like normal shoes. You're test results are: Wrong, Wrong and Wrong.

yeah, apparently ford lets all the negligent and ignorant people work in assembly, it's like ford has collected all the homeless people off the streets and gave them a job, quality control on these vehicles is very poor, my family and i own 4 transits, i speak from experience.

Still the same bag o shite just not built in Turkey . The worst large van on the market by far , made of tinfoil with the worst door hinges on all doors I've ever come across . FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily
