@roymariopavon3884 Listen, I had Fords, and the after sales treatment was shocking and more repairs than on the road. I switched to Isuzu and never turned back. Friends have Toyotas with over 700 000 km and are still going only clutch done. It's common knowledge that Toyota outlasts Ford rubbish
Gents, you guys are going to hurt lots of feelings with this video. Look technically its not close on conclusive as to what vehicle is better, but in saying that this is how far most people will take these vehicles and the Ford seems the better deal. Ford has had its issues with engines and gearboxes but I reckon as a new buyer this doesn't have a effect especially under warranty.
1st, the legent 50 is not the top of the range for toyota. The legend Rs is. That being said it will still be a 4 cylinder vs a v6.. wich is still not fair. For is for those limp wrist cz owners. If you want reliability above anything, you go Toyota. If you have to be a fancy girl, then you go ford and hope that you didn't get the one that will fail you. Especially in a country where you might get robbed next to the road .
Ford has surpassed toyota since about 2018 and the toyota fan boys refuse to acceot it. My 3.2 is 6 years old, never puts a foot wrong. Ford owners ruin ford by chipping their cars at worshops that are not equipped to do it. Toyota brag about their sales of hilux, but dont mention its their fleet sales of single cabs that do so well. Ford outsells them witg double cabs in most countries.
Perhaps the Ford is just the better vehicle - irrespective of engine capacity or age. Neither vehicle is a sprinter so 0 - 60 may not be too relevant. It would be interesting to see how other, older and "smaller engine" models will fare. I have a 2.2 Ranger (that I call a 3.2 Lite). Never a problem until the 5 year warranty ran out, just before the slave master cylinder did... R15000 later. Where did you film the sand drive?
There is nothing to judge. Just look at the choice of NGOs, militaries, minings, its exclusively Hilux and Landcruiser 70 series. The Ranger is a city poser.
