351C is the best mate. I’ve got pretty well the same XD ute, worked 351C, C10, 9” diff converted to dic brake back end. Owned it since near new, except it was a 200 CID 6 with 3 on the tree when I bought it. Everyone asks about it these days. They are a rarity and sound better than any other V8 imo.
Any tips for what spicy cam to put in a little 302, the engine I just bought looks like it dropped a lifter bent a rod and rounded a cam lobe on cylinder 4.
Always a good idea to match the cam lifters springs. That cam shouldn’t need retainers but have a close look if you see anything suss or any wear replace them for peace of mind and maybe go to a hardened collet.
What size exhaust you running? Think I'm going to replace my twin 2.5" with twin 3" with bi-modal mufflers, running worked 351 4V clevo. Cool vids Bro sounds epic!!
