Wow, now that is a clean Sierra indeed! Props to the owner. I've never seen a light bulb mounted under the bonnet, but might actually install one myself now haha
Very beautiful except for the young boy wheels. I had two of these as new cars and absolutely loved them. Fortunately here in the U.K. we have preserved a lot of Sierras because of the Cosworth connection. I came to Joburg in the late seventies and saw some awesome big engine Fords, beautiful car and lovely people. Warm wishes for Christmas and the new year! 🙏🎅🏼

I came to know the world as a child in a Cortina xr6 late spec kitted with an Alpine auto-reverse tape deck. It was a head-turner. Till this day I have never again seen one exactly like my father had. It was stolen in front of our house and stripped in the late 80s.
Aaaah. I remember Indiana. When the xr6 and the gtx stood at the robot, vok, the mense went mal. Word of advice for anyone wanting to rebuild or that owns a Sierra. Bootlid, corners tend to rust, so what you do is, remove the rear panel on the inside of the bootlid, then stick your fingers into the corners and you will find sponges that Ford stuck in there. Why I dont know. But that causes the bootlid to rust on the corners.
Lovely XR6, and to find one in such great condition, with so few km's - lekker! I think getting the roof lining sorted, and putting it back on stock wheels would be the only changes worth making - then just wrap it in bubble wrap ;-) Stay safe

Most immaculate in South Africa???? Maybe you didn't notice the roof lining on your head???? One other thing ---- founded in Cape Town warrants rust everywhere --- albeit not easy to spot at first glance
