Thank You, Yeah they have a very unique sound It would run better but it has a large air leak from the vaporiser and will only run properly with 3/4 choke which I’m working on sealing hopefully
Good work. Is this the gasoline only engine or gasoline/kerosene. I do not see a vaporiser ?. I have worked on many Ford engines from the Ford 8 family car upwards. They all seem identical except size. Simple and reliable always. Congratulations
It runs on gasoline/oil (kerosene) it has a bronze hot plate on the side of the manifold where the exhaust gases heat the plate up most N’s were gasoline/TVO. Late N’s & E27n’s had a heat shield around the vaporiser
Currently I have sealed with jointing compound I hope to have the two surfaces machined flat as currently there is a high spot in the corner where it leaks from
