ForeFlight on Frequency: ForeFlight for Student Pilots 

Thanks for the upload, I honestly enjoyed the whole 1:18 minutes of the video. It was a great refresher for any Pilot.

Mandatory "request": because videos like this are outstanding for student pilots like me, PLEASE find a way to make the cursor EASY TO SEE/FIND on the screen as you're telling us and showing us what you're clicking on. As it is now, I cannot SEE/FIND where you're telling me/us you're clicking! I hear your verbal instruction fine, but I have NO IDEA where you're clicking. Why? because I'm a student pilot, not well versed in ForeFlight yet. And since this is a video for us beginners, you gotta simplify MORE so we can learn it with minimal frustration and having to watch videos over and over again to try and figure out where you clicked for what! Thx, and keep up the great work, ever so CLEARLY!

You can tap on the line and it will give you the distance without having you having to use the ruler.

It's easier to zoom on to get the airport information. Try tapping on the airport while you are flying. I have trouble tapping on it just sitting in my chair. Learn to read the TAC / Sec chart. Foreflight is great but it is not something to rely on when flying.

I am trying to plan a cross country flight where I will be taking off from my home airport, flying to and landing at two different airports before returning back to my home airport. Like a triangle. My question is how do I show myself landing at those airports? The video shows how to land back at your home airport it even shows you in the traffic pattern but the two destination airports it just shows me flying over them. I’ve selected runways for the other airports but in profile view it just shows me flying over them. My other question is how to change altitudes for the different legs of the flight, it’s doing me all the same when I change the altitude for the second leg it changes it for the first leg also and I want to fly the legs at different altitudes. Thank you in advance.

Also, I do not want a large taxi way diagram on my chart as I am getting close to the airport. I may need to report a distance and It's hard for me to see the map when the taxi diagram is on my map covering up 1/4 the screen.

When you tap on an airport you my screen is way different on my Foreflight. It asks for add to route. Maybe check this and send an updated you tube because when you tap an airport it just asks to add to route. PS, I am a student pilot and I am still going to use Paper maps and planner for my checkride

Great summary. I've had FF for several years and I learn something new all the time. Question; on the left side of the screen, right below the elevation ICON is one that looks like an interstate symbol. I've never been able to see where that has any affect. Any advice?

Everytime I make a saved postion or marked postion it does not let me use space but in the video here , the person used space

I print a paper taxi way diagram and study it. Not rely on Foreflight to do it for me.
