So great. I was at this show...was one of the youngest people there. It was like watching 12 hours of legends. Foreigner was a highlight. Can't beat Lou's vocals. Seeing Stephen Stills & Phil Collins having a blast in the choir for "I Want To Know What Love Is" was really fun. This massive show ended with a Led Zeppelin reunion (there have only been 3...Live Aid in 85, this in 88 and then London in 07) that closed the event out with "Stairway to Heaven." What a day.
ISN'T LOU GRAMM PHENOMENAL IN LIVE PERFORMANCES . FANTASTIC AND SO ENERGETIC . THIS BAND IS SO ROCKING I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH . THIS WAS SUCH A GREAT SHOW OF THEIR TALENTS . WISH I WAS THERE AND OF COURSE I JUST LOVE LOU GRAMM FOREVER
I always felt they worn this song out through the 80's and 90's and now that I'm almost 60. Itt has brought tears to me eyes. Sung so beautifully. Am I the only one that shed a tear?
He was called "Pavarotti of Rock ballads" by journalists who worked for CLASSIC ROCK magazine... I can't disagree! A man whose voice cured my soul and discovered my ability to write first poems at the age of 10. That inner light... Thank you so much, Louis! I will keep it!
OMG! The quality is amazing now in 4k hd! Foreigner was a top rock band in 1980-2000. Lou is one of the best singers of all time. Thanks Ken for this gem 💎. 🙌🙏😃✌️👍😊👑👑👑
Going to blow out the freak out of the speakers today. I was looking for that particular performance for YEARS. Now you bring it and in 4k res. Thanks so much :D
Ahh great! I have a strong childhood memory, when I was just getting into music and becoming a drummer, of this great version of Urgent. I never thought I would catch it again. You made my day! Thanks so much for sharing.
I was there. floor seats were 250 dollars, everywhere else 50 bucks. 12 hour show. Zeppelin came on at 1:30 a.m. and played until 2:05. Afterwards, we all walked outta there, shuffling out into the night, satisfied and exhausted, like we'd all just gotten laid.
I do feel bad for Zep... going onstage like four hours after they expected... I know that was especially hard on Jimmy Page, and that's murder for a singer if you're trying to set your voice to come on and then don't go on until 4 hours after, at 1:30 AM no less!
As a nurse it seems Lou Graham struggles to breath. I've noticed it on many videos. Does anybody know or is it just a MASSIVE singer trying to get any breath he can?
Dude, you can call anything 4K but this ain't 4K. You're just wasting file size. I can make a FLAC file out of Glenn Miller tunes but they still sound like they were recorded in the 1940s
Why do you say that? They sound better than many of their 1985 shows, and jukebox hero is a half note higher in this show, and Lou hit all the notes. I think it's not rusty at all
Only Mick and Rick are a bit rusty, everyone else sounds excellent, Lou sounds better than ever here. Love the version of Urgent here, so powerful. @@OvernightDrive
