Lou Gramm is an awesome singer, and songwriter. Lou is in the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame. Foreigner was nominated for the Rock and Hall of Fame for 2024. Lou and the originals deserve to be in.
Foreigner has lots of great songs... I Want to Know What Love Is, Juke Box Hero, Waiting for a Girl Like You, Urgent, Feels Like the First Time & Hot Blooded to name a few.
Now this is good music. Stuff i heard when i was growing up in the 70s and 80s. Straight up rock and roll. Hopefully they will get into the Rock and Roll hall of fame this year
Jamal back in the music room of his home to grace us with his humble take on music, I also want to see Jamal put on his wig and get down to some more Motown funk.
Jamal should listen to some Brotown Funk (Kiwi style). New Zealand band L.A.B formed in 2016 are bringing the Soul, RnB, Funk, Blues, Reggae back for today's generation. Their Live Studio performances are best when they're available. Nothing but bangers. In The Air, Controller, My Brother, Fashion Dread, Yes I Do, Natural, Personify, Under The Sun, Take It Away, Backseat, Proud Man, Ain't No Use (Live at One Love 2021) etc are just a few examples that showcase their diversity.
Late summer of 1978, catching a ride into town with my sister in her dark green 1973 Plymouth Duster, not even 14 yet, and already caught up in a world of turmoil. This 8-Track blasting out of the 6X9s in the rear deck. It was a different planet back then. I can't hear this song without going there in my mind. Dang.
The original bass player was Ed Gagliardi who unfortunately passed away around ten years ago. The original multi-instrumentalist was Ian McDonald(the guy playing sax) and he passed away several years ago. Ian was a member of King Crimson before joining Foreigner. Thankfully Ian was part of the Foreigner Reunion tour but we're now finding out singer Lou Gramm doesn't remember being part of those shows which needless to say is very frightening to learn. Yeah, the origin of this song is well-known among die-hard Foreigner fans.
These guys are ROCK GODS! I have a signed Mick Jones guitar pick framed in my apartment, and I feel like I channel Thy Lord Jones whenever I sing their music. I LOVE FOREIGNER!
jAj you are the best. I watch all your reaction vids. I am a live sound engineer and I love that YOU love the goooood stuff. It might be rock, rap, Funk, and of course, Tower of Power is what it is. Keep on rockin, never stop rollin.
I love you Jamal ❤ I haven't seen your videos in a couple of years. I lost you 😢 I'm a 62 yr old white lady. I'm really sick. I have been in so much pain, i haven't slept but 3 hours in the past 2 days. I'm homeless now and have a hard day. I just went from rage to a smile on my face when I saw your video. I love watching you react to rock n roll. Headknocker is my favourite song by Foreigner.
Great reaction video for a great song! Thanks for reminding me of this song from my childhood. You’re getting close to 1 million subscribers! You deserve it. By the way, I have never known what the song was written about. Thanks for your info about it.
❤❤❤Love Foreigner❤❤❤ Love this song!!! I have listened to this song ever since it first came out!!! ❤❤❤❤ Foreigner is one of my all-time favorite Rock band. Great reaction Jamal!!!
one of my favorites by them. Loved how you picked up on the switch ups and extra things they put into this song. I think you will like their song The Damage is Done also
Saw these guys at the CNE in Toronto 1979! They used 2 drummers in the show. You should look into what bands the members came from, that'll open your eyes. Great show, brilliant 1st album.
I always LOVE your reactions. Your face is so expressive, and you always know when you GOTTA rock your body!! Thanks for being so in touch with the music always!!
Foreigner was the first concert i ever went to as a young kid 18 or 19 i think i was. Those were the days ❤ i loved your little grooving to the song too lol. Love your channel
Nothing not to like. Lou Gramm had one the best voices ever, great music and harmonies. Double Vision takes me back to middle school when I was discovering rock for myself. Great song!
My man, You, sure are on your way to the 7 digit mark! Damn Bro we've had a few bumps along the Journey together. Look at all the fun we've all had with you. Becoming a friend, made it worth while. Congratulations in advance. Recycle more of those previously Lost Video's. It would Be really great to see any of those that you've deleted following the posting, before they became stricken by Host channel.
Bringing back the old stuff. LOVE IT. There’s a lady named Imelda May big band music I think you would love her. Give a listen to Voodoo Working and Big Bad Handsome Man. She has sang with the likes of Jeff Beck and Ronnie Woods
Foreigner has many great songs.. my generation, you would have loved it ❤so many great songs back then!thank you, how about That was yesterday or I don’t want to live without you ❤and peace ✌️
I've had this album since 1978 and I thought the song was a testament to partying and being drunk etc. I didn't see that comming. This album is one of my all time favorites and brings me back to my childhood. Thanks for reacting to it. You should listen to blue morning blue day.
the little guitar figure under "double vision" in the chorus.... that bump butta budump batta is smooth as hell too this is a jam and is my fave foreigner song musically
Can't say how happy I am to see you back to the kind of videos I subscribed to many moons ago! Please keep it up. I know it's hard nowadays due to the stupid copyright crap, but you are introducing a new generation to the music we grew up with. The music now is all fake in my opinion, all computer enhanced because it's too much hard work to do it the right way. Thank you!!!
"Double Vision" has always been my favorite Foreigner album. Another good tune aside from this, is "Lonely Children". A hard rockin song about a series subject...
