India has the largest Margo farms. And every Indian state has it's own mango varieties. I don't think Pakistan has as many varieties as we in India. Traditionally every South Indian homes will( used to) have mango, Banana, Jackfruit trees along with curry leaves tree, coconut palms , Murunga trees. Also, North India grows Apples, peaches, oranges ,Kiwis.Those dragon fruits r Probly grown at the farm located outside Bangalore.

Mostly people india buy dry stuff from supermarket like rice,lentils,flours,noodles, biscuits,etc.. Fruit,vegetables,meat,fish from market you should try Fruit,vegetables from central Fruit market or vegetables market they are little cheap from the supermarket 10-30%
Food is always expensive in malls. You can but clothes, groceries and electronic items from shopping malls but try eating food in restaurants outside malls coz its less expensive.

Mango is called manga in Kerala… the Indian state has the largest varieties of mangoes and wild mangoes as well. Mango is tropical fruit and is grown throughout the year in India. India is not importing mango from anywhere including Pakistan. That observation may make your other good observations negatively.
