THats Kashmiri Saffron. Just by its look, one can tell. Kashmir saffron has a strong aroma and dark color, and its stigmas are long, thick, and dark red in color, while the stigmas of Iranian saffron are small, thin, and their color is closer to yellow

I have never eaten Haleem . Infact many of Indian non veg preparation especially from South India , Maharashtrian , Bengali . Heck even some North Indian I haven't tried . Because I was so stucked on Butter Chicken & Chicken masala only . Now I am vegeterian 😢 Do visit rest of India & try all these non veg items & at right restaurents i.e famous for these items (one can google) . 🙏
