This Kelly Hanson, the replacement for Lou Gram is fantastic, IMO, he has great stage presence, great voice, and a perfect frontman. Sort of reminds me of Steve Tyler from Aeromith. Although Gram can't perform anymore, this Kelly guy is as close as it gets -"great."
So now we are seeing 2nd generation Foreigner and this band of amazingly talented musicians with an amazing lead singer that totally does justice and more to Foreigner!! I cannot believe what I am hearing!!!!! Thanks!!! for keeping it real!!! wow!!!
I was thinking about it and it's most likely just strait marshalls. Not plexi's but for sure something newer with just a bit of overdrive. For tone like this, you need at least 20 years of playing everyday and a good halfstack with just you, the stack and the guitar. Best place to start is to find a good combo amp you like and just stick with it. :D
Kelly is really good, but from the late 1970’s to the mid 1990’s, there was simply no one that came remotely close to Lou Gramm. For me Lou will always be the greatest rock vocalist ever.
