Communication and respect are some of the main keys that I can guarantee you in a loving and lasting relationship. You see I didn’t say “happy” instead I use loving and lasting. It’s because not all the time you are happy..there are sadness, sorrow, and other down times. But the positive thing is, you as a couple go through it together. You won’t be alone. Misunderstanding arises mostly because couples tend to assume or overlook things. Some women when they get upset, they go on a silent mode lol. However, though she is not nagging at you, it doesn’t mean she’s okay. My hubby and I are from two different backgrounds (religion, country, culture and the list goes on). We collided on so many things, like food choices and opinions on some issues😁 But, we never gave up on each other. At the end of the day, he was my strength at my worst and celebrates with me at my best. Same I did for him. I admit, I have mood swings and I could go crazy at times, but my hubby will give me time to cool down (usually it could take a minute to a couple of hours - but we never sleep until we settle our disagreements) and oftentimes he would just hug me when he couldn’t understand me (just his way of telling me that he will always be there no matter what). We dated for 8 years before we got married by the way. It took that long because we both wanted to give our families some time to accept our relationship. His family and mine didn’t show any protest neither acceptance at the start, but we opted not to push things too much for them. We wanted them to see how we can bring out the best in each other despite our differences. It got paid off, our families are getting along well and my husband’s family are treating me like their own. Until now after nearly a decade together, we became stronger. I strongly believe that our differences does not separate us, it even made us closer. We believe in God as a higher being and we see the goodness in people. We compromise because we value each other more than our own selfish desires🙂

you know dear youre still in the stage of adjustments n knowing filipinas we had a lot of patience to understand more deeply our partners but the best is communication n be a good listener than a talker.thats y we had begative n positives signs in math coz it can be multiplication of udeas or division if labor of love!!!!just enjoy life 😊😊😊😊

Good luck to your marriage life, I'm also married to Egyptian man, and I love him so much, glory to God that we're celebrating our 3rd year anniversary this coming December 2018, within this 3years we experience different problems, most of it is about culture differences, he is Arab and I am Asian, I can say it's not easy nor not so hard to continue our marriage life, it needs a lot of patience, understanding, caring , trust and appreciate simple things that make you both happy. Yes his character is talking a lot, specially when we have fight and I use to it. just listen take a deep breath, never go along with him it will make problem more complicated if both of you will talk. I talk to him when he become calm and try to elucidate the problem, he listen and at the end accept if it's his fault and say sorry . To make it short not all Arab are bad, bad most of them that we mingled having the same character, which is talking a lot without limitation, high pride, superiority, which I can say normal attitude as they grow in this kind of life, but once you leave with them all will change. they will learn from you and you will learn from them.. as of now we are blessed by 1 child... and looking forward, holding hands grow old together. Salam akki just allahumdallah you thought about it and realised you should be there she is a strong women but she will not nag or ask you to be there or do something she would just battle alone then put pressure of anything on you.
